Assistant coach sure he would be good but for a head coach he's too buddy buddy and clap clap great job on a missed shot that had a good pass but won't punish for messing up and will ride a group for too long when they are struggling hoping they can figure it out. Also not happy with the FO and scouting, why trade away so many second round picks? It seems like if it's not a first round pick they can't scout well and even then I think they use a computer to see who has the best numbers. Seeing the Heat with Nunn and now Vincent and Straus they went undrafted and their scouts where able to find them, us we go and get Fraizer and Ford? Why not take a chance on guys in the 2nd round?
The Magic for the most part do play hard every night. That's about all you can judge Mosley on at this point IMO.
He's working with extremely limited resources and there's no tangible emphasis organizationally on winning. He's doing what he was brought in to do.
I like that they play hard but they don't seem to embrace the fundamentals that make it look easy (like boxing out, setting picks, and making the extra pass). Like when you play racquetball against an advanced player -who rarely moves his feet while you're running around like a chicken without a head, chasing, the whole game...those seem to be things a "developmental" coach should be held to.
