We should win all those except the Warriors and maybe Blazers games because idk if Lowry will still be out and we obviously won’t have Bam.

Wizards don’t have Beal, Spurs won’t have Murray, Rockets and Kings are ass.

Overrating our current roster situation. We just struggled with the Magic which may have put the worse lineup that I have ever seen.

Ehhhh I mean all those teams are garbage I said we should beat and 2 of them are missing their best player and we just got ours back. I know it’s likely a 2-4 stretch or something though.
I'm just thankful to get a win. Dont expect anything

Bugger that Twix, I’m expecting .500 ball or better on this it a road trip’. Three straight wins, then three straight losses is my expectation. If we get Lowry back early enough then PDX becomes a possibility as well.

This team has lots of players stepping up to fill roles, so I see no reason why we shouldn’t expect different players to step up each night.

Greg Monroe with 11-9-6-2 in 23 minutes in his debut. Looking like he could’ve been some decent insurance in the power rotation with majority of our bigs out. Hopefully we get some guys back soon though

So like Butler said its Spo scheme that does not have Yurt shooting 3s. Spo is focused on keeping the same system running.

Should we save Brown from the Celtics or Ingram from the Pelicans?

Nah lol, I’ll give 14 & 55 for either. Or Beal if he decides he finally wants out.

On which player? Herro is a negative impact player right now when we’re trying to win a championship. Based on airPs numbers he’s got the 2nd worst impact on the team at -9.

Didn’t you say he’s our best draft pick since Wade? That’s very wrong but I love the guy too. If we keep him, great. If we trade him and get another all star to pair with our guys, also great.

Kyle Guy was a baller for Virginia and was drafted by the Kings in the 2nd who never gave him a fair shake. Kid can shoot his ass off. He’s more a tweener small two guard but could possibly fit our system here.

This next road trip is the hardest part of our season, and I've worried about it for a while now, especially in regards to covid exposure on the road. Our next games:

29/12 @ San Antonio
31/12 @ Houston
2/1 @ Sacramento
3/1 @ Golden State
5/1 @ Portland
8/1 @ Phoenix
12/1 @ Atlanta

They will then have a tough homestand that starts again with the Hawks.

We are in an excellent position in the table, in 4th place with the hardest part of our schedule already complete. That we now have 7 games away, 7 games away for a team that has already played 19 of their 35 games away (they are 10-9 on the road.) The competition in the East this season, however, is excellent, and the Heat cannot afford to finish this road trip with anything less than 4 wins. 5 wins would be even better.

It's illustrative to compare this schedule against some of our competitors:

Bucks:

30/12: @ Orlando
1/1: New Orleans
3/1: Detroit
5/1: Toronto
7/1: @ Brooklyn
8/1: @ Charlotte
10/1: @ Charlotte

There is no such thing as an easy nba game, but that schedule looks easier than our road trip overall, by some magnitude even.

Cavaliers:

30/12: @ Washington
31/12: Atlanta
2/1: Pacers
4/1: Grizzlies
7/1: @ Portland
9/1: @ Golden State
10/1: @ Sacramento
12/1: @ Utah

(2 more road games)

Cavs actually start the same kind of road trip, crossing much of the same terrain, and visit the Thunder and Spurs to finish their trip at 6 games. It's a lot too.

Anyway, the road trip is going to be extremely challenging especially without UD but I believe in the team. They are surprising me (pleasantly) so far.

I hate to speak of silver linings amidst so much suffering but the Heat are able to use the covid exception to get a good look at prospects.

Has anyone worked out the precise date the Heat could choose to sign Caleb Martin (& then have another two-way space)? I suppose the Heat would wait until after the buyout period. It's always good to have a free roster space then.

Duncan Robinson was great again tonight. 3 pt shooting trending up but still has plenty to improve:

104/ 301
34.6%

I like to see his defense improving and his driving, which gives us a great unexpected weapon and makes the 3-pt shooting more effective.

Vincent and Tucker now in protocols. Cheathem also has Covid but he probably wasn’t playing.

Getting hit hard. Bad timing with the west coast trip also. We are extremely and utterly gutted roster wise.

So we may be getting a postponement.

One can hope at this point.
