As much as I would be interested in that trade I don’t think Lakers would consider it. Maybe the Boucher from last year.

While it may be somewhat equal value. (I think Pascal is worth more but I’m biased probably) I don’t really want Vuc and not that big a fan or White. So I wouldn’t do this trade. The front office would need to think pat Williams is a potential all-star to do this. If they do, then I trust.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Yeah, I think Pascal is the best player in the deal. This is more about coming out with a more balanced roster. Pat Williams is the most important piece from Chicago IMO. White is an upgrade over Flynn. Vuc is an upgrade at Centre but I don't think he really moves the needle in a playoff series. He has improved defensively but still not good in a switch. Good deal for Chicago for sure.

Cam Reddish to Toronto from Atlanta.
Doesn't say who we would give up other than a protected 1st.

Masai please give up a future first so we can save our bench. I get second hand embarrassment watching Svi

I came here to post this & realized a lot of more people are already on board with the idea of acquiring Reddish:

Marc Stein on Cam Reddish: There’s no question he’s attracting interest. I don’t think you would get him away from the Hawks without surrendering a first-round pick. There’s still time for somebody to meet that price. So I do think it’s conceivable that we could see a Reddish. There’s considerable interest in him.

I've been a fan of Reddish since his Duke days and honestly believe we can bring the best out of him.
Dude's so talented! He's got that Zach Lavine type of potential IMO.

I'd happily trade away this seasons first round pick (top 10 protected) for him or a future first.
He's only 22 and has a ton of untapped potential.

Not saying I'd do it but curious to get people's thoughts on this potential deal:

Image

Two top prospects in Okongwu (21) & Reddish (22) and a decent prospect in Jalen Johnson (20). Plus, we'd be getting a first.

If the Hawks are looking to win now this move definitely makes them one of the best in the East:

Young/Wright
Bogdanovic/Lou Will
OG/Huerter
Collins/Gallo
Capela/Dieng

Well balanced lineup.

Spoiler:
Gun to my head, I'd say no to the offer.

Cam Reddish is playing himself to a very expensive contract that'll surely have buyers remorse.

I find it very odd that Atlanta is willing to trade him where he's clearly helping the team right now, especially with their covid situation and Gallo being a free agent this upcoming summer. Reddish looked like he was on his way out of the league until he finally remembered how to play basketball against Milwaukee last spring in the playoffs.

If we want Reddish that bad, we might as well just draft AJ Griffin in this year's draft.

Don't think the Hawks would take Siakam for Hunter the way they look at him. Lol you guys make terrible trades for the other team

Dragic trade to Cleveland?

First, that sucks.
2nd that is why you wait on a buyout.
It really depends on how patient Cleveland wants to be. Cleveland could go for a bigger move and try to push things forward more. But Dragic for Rubio and a 2nd next year(likely SAS not the Houston one which is likely too much) is a really easy move to make for them.
It also saves us just enough that we can sign a 15th man like a DJ Wilson type. The move would probably be to convert Champangie and use his two spot on Wilson.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

That's what fan bases do. Make terrible trades for the other team.

This was posted on Liberty Ballers last night.

rahan3: Who would the Raptors give for Simmons? Remind me again.

fitz164: If Morey were smart he would ask for FVV and OG and then settle for either FVV or OG plus Barnes and Boucher. No way should they get Simmons for less than that.

fresh1083: [I]s it at all possible that we could trade BOTH Tobi and Ben for Siakim, OG, and Dragic? I mean, the money works, but do the Raptors say no? Pascal was just soooooo much better than Tobi all game... on both ends. I know he had a down year last year, but he's more of the mold of player we should want than Tobi. And he and Jo are good friends, right? Bring back OG as well... and Dragic for some stability at PG (taking over the Tyler Johnson role right now)... and I think we are better, no? [Narrator: Yes, that trade would make the Sixers better. No debate there.]

Capela
Reddish
2016 GMAT Blazers

Howard/Nene/
Griffin/M.Leonard/T.Jones
Porter/Marc.Morris/J.Johnson
McCollum/Stauskas/Thompson/Seldon

Should we have a separate thread for trade ideas from other fanbases? Of course, they all get ratio'd by Raptor fans on twitter, so we don't have to waste our time engaging with them. But it's interesting to know how the enemy thinks.

It amazes me how much value Lakers fans seem to think that THT still has.

that's how it goes though. Because if you make realistic trade proposals it's that player xyz is worth way more and no way Masai is this dumb etc. A proper discussion is never happening.
