NBA scheduled this perfectly for GS. 4 days off. play at home. Nugs play 2 days ago, travel on off day.
Play each other twice in 2 days, so travel after game losing hour for zone.
If Gordon is still out with hamstring which is more likely, than it will be hard to get two wins. They have not had much luck on back to back with same team.
If the bench ever needed to play big these would be the games to show something for 2022.

With Curry having a rough game, the Nuggets rolling. Warriors having FT issues, no problems here. Time to play some defense and keep this snowball going.

Re: Game 33 : Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors
It is scary to see that even 25 points lead on halftime for 2021-22 Nuggets is (almost) not enough for a win, so the opponent has two chances to put this game into overtime and most probably make another historic comeback against Denver. Nuggets are +/- TOP-5 team this season in the 1st half but bottom-5 in the 2nd half. In road games, numbers are ridiculous where Denver with just a 9-10 record is a league-best team with +3.8 at halftime, but the league 2nd worst team with -6.4 in 2nd half!? How on Earth the same team managed to be the best and the worst at the same time?!? And we not talking about a small sample but almost about half of the season (19 out of 41 road games)!
On the positive note Denver once again this season showed we can play excellent defense so we beat an elite offensive team despite scoring under 90 points, and once again Denver played way better against a good team than against a bad team (in this case we actually beat current NBA leader on their soil!).
In the past 3 games, Jokic averaged 25-20-6 which is great even for Wilt Chamberlain standards (back in time Wilt played whole games, all 48 minutes).
Great win, great defense, great Jokic (credit to Barton too today), great first half... but 29-50 2nd half must worry.

Only 9 players available, Rivers and Campazzo playing 30+ minutes, I wouldn't draw any conclusions out of that except that it was a very good win to get.

They needed all of that to get this win. Disappointing that Barton was basically scoreless 2nd half. His offense is counter to Jokic, where JaMychal is better fit with his ability to cut to basket (which is part of the reason Jokic has said he likes playing with him and Gordon)
If GS is shorthanded again bodes well for tonight that they pulled of this win.

Agreed, we are missing 5 of our top 7 players and playing a guy on a 10 day contract 18 minutes, just getting a win and being over 500 is a major accomplishment at this point.

We have to get Jokic some help out there, the Warriors were triple teaming him and still nobody could hit wide open shots.

Petr was a healthy scratch. If Malone put him in you could have moved Green down to SF and have Reed and Hyland get more rest to Rivers and Campazzo

And they would've been exposed real bad, the Warriors with their small lineup would've been terrible match for that kind of lineup.

I was thinking more in the line of a 3-5 minute frame. Rockets rarely went small with Jokic since it was a losing endeavor. To break small ball you need to go to the post. A dunk is a higher % shot with possibility of foul then a 3pt shot
