I disagree that Franz isn't quick, that's one of his strengths.

The context was that the comparison to Toni Kukoc was pretty good. His body style and style of play...not his resume, but thanks.

The disrespect for Franz... Saying he's a 12ppg kinda guy when hes already averaging 15 as a rookie lol.

It's only disrespectful if you assume that 15 ppg is superior to 12 ppg. You can't possibly know that without context, but that doesn't stop people from making the assertion. Would Franz be a "12 ppg kinda guy" if he was on the Warriors? Obviously not. He'd be struggling to find minutes. Is Wagner better than Mikal Bridges or Draymond Green simply because he is averaging more points per game?
Franz has a .528 TS% and a 14.2 AST%, so he isn't really demonstrating that he is capable of handling the load he has been given up to this point. That's fine. We aren't concerned with such things. We have nothing better to do right now than to develop our young talent.
I want to see the ball in Wagner's hands a lot. I want him to get comfortable in all sorts of positions. I want him learning to make reads. I want him to figure out when, where, and how he can find or create offense. That said, he will eventually find himself on a roster much more talented than this one and he will probably end up with a rather modest offensive role. Again... that's fine. I'd rather have a good player with a modest offensive role than a **** player dominating possessions.
"Xatticus has always been, in my humble opinion best poster here. Should write articles or something."

Re: The 2022 NBA Draft Thread
Lamelo Ball had a 539 TS and Edwards a 523. Rookies struggle to play efficiently but usually improve as the season goes on. I think Franz is 4th among rookies in TS.

Re: The 2022 NBA Draft Thread
There’s something about PBJr that really intrigues me. If the team starts flipping pieces I’d love it if we could add another pick to use on him.
Maybe he’s only Channing Frye 2.0, but his shot looks really nice and he seems to have the knack for scoring. The rest of his skills aren’t mind blowing but he’s not far off where Franz was entering the draft with his handles and passing. Defensively he’s got all the tools to be solid.

Re: The 2022 NBA Draft Thread
Another monster game for Keegan Murray (8th on Tankathon) tonight. 29 PTS, 10 REB, 3 AST, 3 STL, 3 BLK on 13-20 FG.
Jaden Ivey with 19 on another 3-6 3PT. Sample size keeps getting bigger.

It would mean we fell out of top 3 once again...
I like Mathurin, i would entertain trading down if we end up picking 4.

My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Ivey could be a top 3 pick by end of the college season.

I'm still slowly moving all my chips towards Ivey:
The play that starts at 0:35....

I agree.
Go to scorer.
It would be nice to pair him with Franz Wagner and Cole Anthony.
I like also Jabari Smith, Chet Holmgren and Bennedict Mathurin for the Magic.

The Magic could acquire another pick to grab him.
He would be a nice replacement for Bamba.
