Basketball is a game, but Covid is real life. I may be against playing Julius as much as, and in the same way, that he has been. But the first concern is that he gets better.

We can figure out how to win our game, but there are priorities.

He should be - he's a young, healthy man who has been vaccinated.

But in real life, you don't really know for sure. There are no extra lives like in games.

So we need to keep our perspective and have some reverence for people even as we ask our team to go out and kill their opponents.

He should be - he's a young, healthy man who has been vaccinated. But in real life, you don't really know for sure. There are no extra lives like in games. So we need to keep our perspective and have some reverence for people even as we ask our team to go out and kill their opponents.

The perspective is that he will be fine and will miss 1-2 games and him missing those 1-2 games is the best thing to happen to this season, which is an incredibly sad fact. There is nothing more to say on the matter. I'll continue to celebrate his on court absence. If you don't want to because you're worried about him, that's fine.

I can’t speak for everyone of course. But it should be really clear there is a huge difference between celebrating over a guy not playing and a guy getting sick. Randle has been pretty disastrous this season so the best thing that can come out of this is he hits the reset button and comes back with a clear head ready to play better.

KAT lost a large number of family members - although no evidence it came from him. Others have lost people, too. If a young, healthy, vaccinated person (NBA player type) can spread Covid, others can die, too. They count, even if they don't play in the NBA.
