At least on paper, the Lakers starters average 9 1/2 points per game more than the Blazers starters, given all the Portland players out right now. But will the bench step up this game?

LeBron has been scoring like crazy, but that has not led to wins since Anthony Davis went out. Key for the game: spread the wealth beyond #6 and #0, especially late in the game, and pay attention when blocking out.

Malik Monk should be moved to the 2, and Stanley Johnson should get an opportunity to start at the 3. Move Avery Bradley to the bench.

I start Russ, Monk, Stanley, LBJ & Howard & bring Avery, Melo & THT off the bench...

If you EVER played ANY level of hoops you realize that Players like DEFINED ROLES & minutes...

Vogel is the worst at ROLES... Dude had 4 PG's in a game we lost due to rebounding...

They play quite a different role, THT has been an SF this season.

McLemore is single-handedly keeping Portland in the game. Coach Vogel will have to make some adjustments. Carmelo had a couple of terrific defensive plays, not to mention three straight threes.
