Bron might have more half court dunks this game than the rest of the season combined.

Westbrook is playing great. Nearly a triple double and the highest +/- on the team. His two man game with LeBron is getting better each game

Really interested in the next Warriors matchup with Bron at the 5 TBH

Russ, Monk, Stanley, Bron and whoever makes most sense for the 4th man b/w Reeves, Ariza, Bradley

They don't. 28th in defense. To the Lakers credit they are 13th in offense so Blazers are being held way below their offensive capacity.

He has been making an effort to slow it up and run good offense when he does not have the clear advantage. That’s an improvement.

This has been a very good floor game from him. He gets LeBron easy buckets that he has not seen since Miami.

Yeah agreed. I do think this Lakers 3 does have similarities to the Miami 3 but they need better role players like that Miami team ended up getting.

Monk has superstar like athleticism and creativity. In a parallel universe I could see him being an all-star type player (with the right breaks early in his career).

Monk has grown on me, for sure.

Part of me thinks LeBron is trying to get that scoring record in a Lakers jersey ASAP so he doesn't have to extend another season with them

Don't let anyone pretend no one doubted this man. Solomon Hill fell into his ankle and people forgot what was what.

People just don't know how bad high ankle sprains are for jumping. They heal in 6 weeks but pain.and reduced jumping often stays beyond 6 months. I said by Jan we will see the real LeBron back if he can stay relatively uninjured.

He lost elevation on his layup and retained his paint efficiency. Lebron might be the GOAT finisher but it never gets recognised when discussing great scorers, those discussions always skews to who has the best pull up jumper. I wouldn't be surprised to know half of nba fandom thinks Kyrie is a better finisher because of the aesthetics but Lebron's paint efficiency rivals Shaq's and the gap in volume isn't as big as you might expect for a perimeter forward.

Three potential top 10 players are playing at or near their peaks right now, and they don't have any clear separation from a year 19 LeBron.

I don’t think I even argue with his take that LeBron has been declining since 2013. I’d easily take 2016-2018 LeBron over 2013 LeBron. He may have been more athletic in 2013 but that’s it, imo. 2018 LeBron doesn’t take only 18 shots a game in the finals like 2014 LeBron did. Frankly, if you swap 2018 playoff LeBron with 2014 LeBron, they may beat the Spurs.

BKREF’s behind a paywall, so I can’t search it, but I don’t know how many games ever in NBA history have seen a team takes 17 fewer shots and still win by 33 while only taking three more free throws and only having two fewer turnovers.

I'm referring more to the last sentence where Bomani was doubting just earlier this month whether LeBron is still all star calibre.

He should definitely aim to finish his career with 40k points. I want him to go for it. I think it’s possible barring any injuries.
Thanks for all the great memories, LeBron! The show must go on! #Heatnation
