Do people really enjoy watching these two players? The endless dribbling, the selfishness, the turnovers? It's a waste of individual talent in an orgy of bad basketball.

Personally, I'd rather watch a player like Luguentz Dort make the most of what talent he has than to watch Tatum and Brown squander theirs.

I was virtually begging Danny through the screen to move up twp spots and snag Haliburton. He would have been a nice add to the Jays, but not so much as a replacement for Jaylen (the best player in the deal).

And I still wonder if the Celtics even tried to move in that draft. #14 + #26 (+ future 2nd?) for #12 might have gotten it done. Pritchard or Bane would have been there at #30. But no, we had to trade #30 away just to get rid of the French dude in red shoes.

Same, and I wanted to pay the price for Jrue also.

Jrue or Hali
Smart
JB
JT
Rob / Al

Dats what I wanted. Murray could fit also.

Holiday would have been beyond perfect next to the Jays, I still hurt that we got outbid.

On a side note.. everyone I ever heard would say Kobe > Pippen.. yet most, I think, would say Pippen + Jordan make for a better Tandem than Jordan + Kobe. Reason being fit.. can't have two ball dominating scorers.

*If Brown would play more of a Klay Thompson type role, it might be different. But no one that dribbles and shoots almost every time after 5 seasons wants that role.

Steph and Klay were 47-35 when they were 25 and 23. This team is projected to go 45-37. The first half of the schedule has been brutal...

Obviously GSW should have dealt both Steph and Klay years ago.

That's assuming Jaylen has the BBIQ capable of playing a Klay Thompson type role. Nothing I've seen of Jaylen tells me he's capable of moving without the ball and getting himself open. Jaylen doesn't know where to go for a spot up three. Hell, he doesn't know to move away from the ball handler so his man doesn't get to cheat off of him.

Steph and Klay were improving, not regressing. And they were sharing the ball, not playing hero ball.
Wins and losses don't lie. If you want to believe they do, be my guest.

Ainge squandered the chance for the Celtics to win another title in our lifetimes when he passed on Giannis in 2013.

Letting Posey leave in free-agency had a bigger impact on the championship aspirations of the Celts than not drafting Giannis.

They weren't winning in 09 without KG but he would have been headhunting Lakers the following year.

If you want to get rich quick, find someone who will bet a lot of money on Tatum getting traded.

There's just no option in Vegas to bet on Tatum getting traded or not.

I'm sure if you bet on Tatum getting traded, you'll lose a lot of money.

Why? According to you I should get very good odds.

If Stevens does keep Tatum and Brown, I would not advise you to bet on the Celtics winning a championship while Tatum's new deal is in effect. But hey, you should get good odds too. Very good odds.

I did a lot of numbers crunching in Excel and basically I think it's a good bet that 29 teams or 96.67% of the NBA will not win a championship this season.

Like I said, it doesn't exist.

Nobody in Vegas is stupid enough to make that bet.

If you can find one then tell me because I'm going all in!

It's just a waiting game.

Last time Celts won a championship after 1986 was in 2008.

So the trend is it takes the Celts more or less 20 years to win a championship.

You're going to need patience if you're a Celtic fan today.

2029 is not that far.

You and I agree alot

But Kobe and Mike together would have been a 75 win team.
