They played half speed in the second half like they did in the first game but the game got tighter here. Then when they needed shots the ball wasn’t falling and was a quick comeback

They do obviously believe they can toy with you and then turn it on when needed. Plus they got the refs. This sense of entitlement was what Trezz was talking about with the Clippers then the Lakers and now with the Wizards after they won a few games. The Nets don't bring their lunch buckets. Ever since the Bubble humiliation, the Clippers have--especially PG.

On paper you'd rather have Durant and Harden. On the court give me Kawhi and PG ANYTIME.

2-1 in a brutal 3-games in 4 days cross-country road trip. I'd have guessed losses in Boston and Brooklyn with a win in Toronto.

Back to LA vs the T-Pups on Monday at The Crypt. ;-)

Also, just like the Bubble Clippers, the Nets are a poorly-coached team. With Mills fouled out, Nash just kept playing a bunch of non-shooters to clog the spacing for KD and Harden instead of giving a chance to one of their rookies who can shoot the ball. That's Doc-esque "coaching" with Doc-esque results.

no, KD and Harden are gutless non-leaders
they can hoop like a MFer but they do not BALL

games are won and lost on the floor
Nash didn't miss all these shots and neither did Doc Rivers :spammer:

Meanwhile, on the court:

Patty Mills, who fouled out in the fourth, scored 17 points in 33 minutes of play. His absence down the stretch served volumes in the loss and the Clippers immediately knew the impact of it.

"It was huge absence. When he went out, all they kept screaming was 'now they only got two shooters out there.' That's what they were saying," Durant said. "We knew double-teams were coming and just forget about their defensive scheme and just bring two at James and myself for the last six minutes off the game."

Awful coaching by Nash and everyone knows it. Thank goodness the Nets are stuck with him and not a Nurse/Spoelstra/Kerr-level coach who could actually get the most out of that team.

Well at least for once you posted an actual fact [opinion actually] to support your position. That's a first. :D

ONLY two shooters??--TWO of the best shooters in NBA HISTORY??? Boo f%*ckin hoo. :rofl2: We had exactly ZERO.

KD and Harden are gutless. Funny thing is, I don't hate them--but KD just dumped on his coach. For his OWN failure. One of the Greatest of All Time just lost to a pickup team. On a back-to-back. At home. Missing their top 5 players.

Thanks for proving my point. As usual. Best win of the season and you're still posting your Doc garbage 3 years later? :spam:

I'm not denying that KD and Harden are gutless. Two things can be true at the same time. They're both gutless and Nash is a terrible coach who apparently doesn't understand the importance of spacing in today's league.

I love the replay of TMann’s shot showing the bench behind him getting hyped for it to go in-

Besides, it’s not like they’re playing the replacement guys anyway.

They sure used them today!

Wow, hell of a win and a great way to start the new year off on the right foot. Mann, Bled, and Jackson. Hell of a shot from Mann hitting that clutch three. Its beginning to look like he's waking up. He's had a hell of a road trip. Hopefully we get a couple more players active for Monday Night

What I also enjoyed early in that possession was Mann desperately yelling at Coffey to move out from the corner and get involved in the play.
