Injury related. He's getting ankle surgery. That sucks for him.

A small ball lineup of Steph, Jrue, Khris, Pat, Draymond would be insane also. If Giannis had one year left and said he would only sign with the warriors I would do that in a heart beat.

All make believe of course but it’s fun to think about sometimes.

Yes. Every player has their price. The best team positioned is probably Memphis. If they gave us Ja, Bane, JJJ, Melton, plus all their picks and pick swaps for as long out as they can there would be no way I'd say no
I'm saying no to that and I'm saying no pretty damn quickly. Bird in the hand and all that

Hard pass on trading Giannis for anything, let alone trading him straight up for a play-in game team.

Sure, JA is awesome and could get better but what’s his upside? Top five player? Giannis is already the best player on the planet.

Never make a trade unless your getting the best player in the deal. There is not Giannis trade in which you are getting the best player in the deal.

Oh, and all those scenarios where you trade Giannis for that team’s picks are pointless because any team with Giannis is drafting in the late 20s for as long as he is healthy and playing.

Obviously impossible to accomplish and not even desirable in some cases.

I was interested to see how the bucks were going to present him his ring when he came to town with Memphis. Would he have gotten the Forbes/Tucker Ceremony? Also funny how 4 guys at the end of the bench are out of the league.

Only way I’d trade Giannis is if he requested a trade and the Bucks were no longer contenders but only after trying everything I could to reason with him. If he truly wanted out and wasn’t going to be a dick about it like Simmons, I’d grant him that. He’s given everything to the team and city.

You trade Giannis if he wants a trade and you've tried everything under the sun to change his mind. Otherwise you don't.

Hopefully Donte isn't out too long.

Awesome that Wesley Matthews is playing so much better than we had any reason to expect at least!

Bucks should be careful about relying too much on Donte come playoff time.

That said I'm not sure if this makes us more motivated to trade him at the deadline or if it tanks the value he theoretically could have had.

Trying to picture Duncan doing all the stupid stuff Giannis has done in the playoffs in his career exceeds the limits of my imagination by a wide margin. Giannis can get there, but Duncan is still way ahead of him. He could have easily put up Giannis numbers and then some if they played at the same pace and he wasn't so unselfish.

Duncan simply isn't in the same stratosphere as Giannis as a scorer. Duncan never once had a 58TS%, so it's hard to picture him shooting more while still being efficient, considering he wasn't super efficient while being unselfish.

Defensively, Giannis is also remarkably better. Giannis is just better, Duncan had a better supporting cast. Tony Parker at PG instead of playoff Bledsoe would have made life much easier for young Giannis.

Weird to sign Kornet with Giannis/Bobby and cousins healthy and only 2 in protocols.

The better question than would you trade Giannis is would you consider Middleton for a center deal if Nwora continues to blossom. Something along an Anthony Davis level talent in exchange back. I believe Davis would thrive again outside of LA, and the Lakers need shooting next to Westbrook (Khris) and a Caruso type player (DDV).

No he isn’t lol. Prime Duncan was a top 5, at *worst* top 10 defensive player of all time.

Luke Kornet to the Bucks on a 10 day. I guess this is one of the last chances to look at other big men with Boogies guarantee date coming up fast.

Also, tell me you don't know how to use TS% without telling me you don't know how to use TS%. Giannis has a better TS% than Jordan! So Giannis must be in a different stratosphere as a scorer than him too!

The prodigal son comes home! Finally!

This answers my question about MCGs cryptic one word " Kornet" post yesterday.

Did we know MCG was an insider? Props to him.
