Injury related. He's getting ankle surgery. That sucks for him.

I'm saying no to that and I'm saying no pretty damn quickly. Bird in the hand and all thatMVP2110 wrote:Neuromancer56 wrote:Is there any trade scenario where you would trade Giannis? For Steph + Draymond? For KD?
Yes. Every player has their price. The best team positioned is probably Memphis. If they gave us Ja, Bane, JJJ, Melton, plus all their picks and pick swaps for as long out as they can there would be no way I'd say no

I was interested to see how the bucks were going to present him his ring when he came to town with Memphis. Would he have gotten the Forbes/Tucker Ceremony? Also funny how 4 guys at the end of the bench are out of the league.Illawarra_Buck wrote:Grizzlies releasing Merrill according to Woj

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

And Giannis is better than Duncan to boot.

Trying to picture Duncan doing all the stupid stuff Giannis has done in the playoffs in his career exceeds the limits of my imagination by a wide margin. Giannis can get there, but Duncan is still way ahead of him. He could have easily put up Giannis numbers and then some if they played at the same pace and he wasn't so unselfish.

Duncan simply isn't in the same stratosphere as Giannis as a scorer. Duncan never once had a 58TS%, so it's hard to picture him shooting more while still being efficient, considering he wasn't super efficient while being unselfish.
Defensively, Giannis is also remarkably better. Giannis is just better, Duncan had a better supporting cast. Tony Parker at PG instead of playoff Bledsoe would have made life much easier for young Giannis.

No he isn’t lol. Prime Duncan was a top 5, at *worst* top 10 defensive player of all time.
