A bag of chips, a towel, a sixpack of Gatorade is fine with me.
It’s better he doesn’t play at all because our defense will never be good enough to win it with him in our SL. Addition by subtraction. Trade him for picks and a few expiring dead weight contracts, so we can change course.
Or, and I never thought I’d say it, we might as well tank the rest of the season because we won’t win with him in our SL. No team will. That time has passed.
Defense, Russell. Defense! And that won’t happen.
Frank needs to grow a pair and play him as 6th man off the bench.

Other than that, maybe Kevin Love and a player who most likely sucks...
Only other remote possibility would be if the Nets freaked out and decided they needed to dump Kyrie before the playoffs, but that's a super long shot...
So basically, it's how much better would we be with John Wall instead of Westbrook? Honestly, I'd say that might actually make us worse.

I think Westbrook+Bazemore+Jordan for Horford+Richardson+Juancho is possible. That's the best realistic trade out there and Lakers may need to give up picks too.
Wall would be worse, Westbrook is not awful, he just needs to find his place in the team and work on defense over the rest of the season.
I feel the trade Westbrook frenzy is a bit irrational. He plays with a speed that means he needs to know his teammates movements on the floor to be efficient and he hasn't had a stable lineup in LA to do that yet.
Lakers need to focus on improve their role players

If that is on the table without sending picks, the Lakers should take it and run today. I think Richardson would thrive in Vogel's defensive system as one of the speedier small guards zipping through rotations and I'd much rather LeBron play PG rather than center if he were to play out of position.

Yeah this team would be nice
PG: Nunn | Bradley
SG: J-Rich | Monk | Reaves | Ellington
SF: LeBron | THT | Johnson
PF: Davis | Ariza | Melo
C : Horford | Howard | Juancho

Spicy P
JTG
Boucher and Dragic
for AD and Westbrook.
Salaries should be close enough to get done with some spare parts.
The raptors know how to play team basketball and actually move the ball. You could actually put all those guys in your starting lienup and it'd be an upgrade
Dragic
JTG
Lebron
Spicy P

Taking back Westbrook is a necessary evil. Hero ball doesn't work in our system and Westbrook might not either. AD though would work well with our young rook.
AD
OG
Scottie

Anthony Davis will never go for that package. You might be able to squeeze tht out of our hands for taking on Westbrook.
Westbrook and tht, for dragic butcher and Gary Trent Jr
For Anthony Davis, bazemore, deandre.... it better be a package like Dragic, Gary Trent Jr, siakim, and Scottie and multiple pics

any legs to a THT for Bamba + Ross package? dont think there is a way to make the money work but could be a useful trade...is Ross 30 or older than that?

I am 100% down for a package built around Fournier (4 years at $80 million), maybe Burkes/Rose & Noel... I would throw THT into that deal to get those pieces... They have soured on Fournier and Tibbs has enough balls to pull the trigger as they are a big market team... It seems to be the ONLY viable option...
I am not sure about Porzingis but each time I watch Westbrook throw the ball off someone's head I get more excited... He can spread the floor, rebound and shoot but his defense is bad & an AD/Porzingis pairing may be tough...
