Houston is listening to trade offers for Wood??

Post#1 » by Ghost of Kleine » Fri Dec 10, 2021 6:11 pm

Just curious!
Are you guys really ready to consider trade offers for Wood? And if so, What would be the consensus of value that you're looking to get back?

Also, Are there any other players that your team is looking to possibly trade. What value would you be looking for in return. Any possibilities of:

Theiss?
Augustine?
Porter?
Tate?
*Christopher?

The Rockets are always listening...to EVERYTHING.
That's how they operate, in perpetual pursuit of data and intel.

They'll listen to offers for virtually anyone on the roster, save for Green, but in all likelihood the only players they'll be actively looking to move are Wall, Gordon, and House and maybe Theis and/or Nwaba situationally.

Imo they should be looking to move Wood. Obviously Green has the higher ceiling, but Sengun is their best 19 yo and he's getting his minutes eaten because he's stuck behind Wood

What will the cost be for a team to acquire wood?

Would Rob Williams and a first work>?

The rationale for moving Wood is that he's a FA at the end of next season, he's very likely to leave Houston, and he has trade value. The Rockets are also trying to tank, so keeping him around isn't really on strategy. Rockets have reportedly been seeing what his value is.

Wood's trade value is at a minimum now, thanks to his one-man shows.
Please don't let this man see the floor with the Houston Rockets again.
even beethoven had his critics. name three of them.

Wolves fan here. I posted this on my board and wanted to share here as well.

So in order to make my suggested trade we must convert Knight to a Naz style contract.

Wolves give Beasley, Prince, Reid, top 14 protected first.
Wolves get Christian Wood, Daniel Theis, Michael Frazier ii (two way player.)

Thoughts?
