The whistle Derozan gets against the Wizards dating back to his days in Toronto might be the most annoying thing I've experienced in my time as a Wizards fan. There was that stretch where LeBron seemed to travel myriad times in clutch situations against the Wizards in his younger days and of course it was grating watching Kyle Lowry being rewarded with charges instead of obvious defensive fouls for sliding under Wizards players for a decade, but Derozan consistently being able to get various teams into the bonus and to routinely put players into foul trouble with obviously contrived moves that generate exceedingly borderline contact is the bane of my viewing experience. Just a wild thing to watch annually.

Amen.

That last Deni “foul” — that was outrageous.

Deni didn’t touch him. Not even close. Not even a little.

Absolute and utter horseshxt.

I wish Brad got those calls

Those all looked like legit fouls to me, sorry

All we needed was one stop in that stretch where their big men scored in the post like 5 times in a row.

What happened to Montrezl? Covid?

In my opinion, those were all legit foul calls. Derozan just hit tough shots. Not much you can do. We defended him well down the stretch. Just one of those games.

Trez is out in COVID protocols

Gafford shouldn’t have been benched

If this is a man’s league, like the dxmn jocks keep telling us, over and over and over, insufferably, nauseatingly — a league where the toughest and baddest and dxck-swingest are king — then those are as ticky-tack as fouls get.

What next, breathing too hard? Spreading B.O.?

If this shxt that Deni got called for is gonna be how it goes from now on, then I hope he learns his lesson. And that lesson is — make these mofos pay. Make them hurt. Put them on their goddxmn axx.

This was a hard loss. We had a heroic last-second victory on Kuzma's make. Then they got an even more heroic, last .2 second victory.

There are no moral victories, of course, but let's not forget 2 things: a) how well we played in the first half, & 2) how badly we played in the 2d half.

We let them score 68 points, & that is how we lost the game -- not DeRozan's improbable make.

Wes had to take a challenge on Deni's 5th foul on DeRozan. It was clean as hell. Instead he decided take it on his 6th while there was a slight contact. Not a good call. Deni's defense was terrific. Refs just killed him, half of his fouls was from respect to DeRozan. I'm saying all that from objective view. That gave them eventually 5 critical points while Vucevic took another board with and-one.
Beal was great again with great decision making and a lot of assists. Gil brought a lot himself. Kuz with the O. We should have won this.

Nah..it wasn't really weird to have so many Bull fans in Cap One. Chicago has a national fanbase (thanks in large part to Jordan) so what you saw was not that unusual. There are 3-4 other home games (Knicks, Celts, Sixers, Warriors) where it will seem like there are more road team fans there than Zards fans.

Hate when that happens but it is what it is.

I was there with some local high school ballers from nova in the E section 113 (tallest kid 6’10 and shortest of for was 6’1.5”) and to 2 of them it was their first NBA game. What a game to witness.

The crowd was pretty respectful apart from the occasional Chicago mid 20s guys in our section cursing out Bulls players...specially Troy and Derrick Jones lol and the fact that we let fans go to their seats during the game so people in aisles blocking view alllll damn game.

These kids are playing in a tournament at the Verizon center in two weeks so it was good for them to see the place packed because it won’t be when they play lol...maybe it motivates them to get back.

I love the way Brad and Kuzma interact with the fans. Kuzma was talking back to Bulls fans...it was all good fun.

I just wish we had more local young people at the games repping the wiz and giving us a real home court - especially on Saturday night.

Beal, Zack, Gafford and Especially Derozen gave us our money’s worth even in a L...

Btw do we know for certain why Gafford was out?

I just wish more local kids could come to wiz games and l
