too bad Cincinnati's line couldn't hold long enough to give their QB even a hope of getting a decent pass off. Honestly their defense slowed Alabama more than I thought they would.

I feel like the championship game is gonna end up being about as exciting as the first 2 games of the playoff

remember that Alabama also lost their #2, 1,000 yd WR Metchie in the UGA game (also one of our starting DB's), and playing a freshman at center (due to injuries). that impacts their offense a lot. But Cincy has a very good defense, taking nothing away from them.

Bowser coming back is a pretty big development. He's one of those guys that gets better as the game goes on and can really carry you in the 4th and help sustain drives. When he was healthy this year he was a monster for us.

On the flip side, Titus (WR) is transferring out. He was pretty good when DG was QB, and he came here because of DG so it makes sense that he's transferring out. I imagine he'll be at OU with him, but who knows. Wish him the best, was looking forward to seeing him develop into a pretty good WR here.

For those interested in reading up on the move to the big 12. Houston had to release some records recently.

Extremely good chance this young man is the starting QB next year.

Open competition between Plumlee, Keene and the incoming freshman Castellanos.

Ole Miss QB John Rhys Plumlee - 2 years left
Virginia OT Ryan Swoboda - 1 year left
Auburn WR Kobe Hudson - 3 years left
Maryland LB Terrence Lewis - 4 years left
Kentucky EDGE KD McDaniel - 3 years left
Jacksonville State OT Tylan Grable - 2 years left (FCS All-American)
Austin Peay DB Koby Perry - 1 year left (FCS All-American)

^ Gus absolutely smashing the transfer portal thus far. All of these guys could potentially start next season. A few of them definitely will.

Some pretty decent rumors that we might be landing Nesta Silvera out of Miami. I think he's only got 1 year left but would be a huge pickup. Guy has started most of the last two seasons and was an All-ACC Honorable Mention in 2020.

This UCF basketball game tomorrow vs TULANE has me interested. Tulane has a big 1-2 punch of Jalen Cook and Jaylen Forbes. Obviously those are the 2 main guys on their team and that's where our focus should be. I'm excited about seeing Cook and Forbes in person.

So that win over Tulane was 100% won by the fans/students. We kept both Cook and Forbes under 20 points each. Darius Perry had the lowest minutes played among the starters. Have to wonder if the NCAA committee is looking at UCF as a possible tournament team, wins over Miami, Michigan, Memphis, Tulane and big comeback wins over Michigan, Memphis, Tulane and ECU is a team that should be in the NCAA tournament. The next home game vs Houston OH MAN that game is going to be so electric.

So much for the "lack of speed" not translating to the NFL!

he broke some ankles on 2 TDs and just flat outran 2 guys on the long bomb catch and run, seems like he's doing just fine.
