Might as well call Frank Vogel Frank D'Antoni.

I still think Howard should have played 10-12 minutes to help slow down the Timberwolves and their rebounding advantage.

I don’t get why he’s not in . Is he sick? Honestly we need his rebounding and defense

Apparently, Coach Vogel decided to make the team learn to deal with rebounding in small-ball units, to "adapt." I understand the reasoning, but the game could easily have been lost. Instead, the Lakers are back to .500. Continued strong play would put them in better position for the playoffs. In other words, the strategy is too risky.

The russ situation is hard to deal with...the obvious answer is cut him but we still take the cap hit...i dont see anyone going after him via trade either. I think Pelinka just got our balls in a vice. Our only hope is to John Wall him ...send him home until his contract is an expiring and someone bites . Imagine if we did the THT for Lowry trade ...

Lowry
Avery / Reaves
Stanley
LeBron
A. Davis

Caruso
Monk
Ariza
Melo
Dwight

I was one of the few furious when they didn't pull the deal on Lowry for THT, KCP, etc. And I was surprised that so many were content walking away from the deal if it meant giving up THT.

THT has some serious ability and serious potential - but you make that deal 7 days a week. THT is not going to be a winning player during LeBron's time here. Maybe towards the tail end of AD's prime - but that's about it. If they get an opportunity to trade him at the deadline for a piece that can help contend now, they better do it. Unfortunately it won't be a player the caliber of Kyle Lowry.

This isn't the answer but we definitely need to dial him back and if it means benching him during crunch time, we have to do it. Especially once Nunn and AD get back.
