Is WB First-Ballot HOF?

Post#1 » by Balls Deep » Wed Jan 5, 2022 4:05 am

He’s been an absolute disgrace on the Lakers up until this point. I think his entire career has been nothing but a smoke and mirrors show, and he’s been exposed as a fraud of the highest order. He’s one of the worst jump shooting guards ever, terrible at FTs, one of the worst decision makers in NBA history and you can probably add a few more negative remarks. I honestly don’t think I will ever speak of him positively in a basketball discussion ever again and will never mention that he averaged a triple-double for a season. I also don’t think he’s worthy of being a 1st ballot HOF inductee anymore.

What do you guys think?

um...obviously, what relevance does his run in LA have? You can't become a 1st ballot HOF and then lose it by becoming bad, otherwise everyone who is past their prime would disqualify themselves.

He's an MVP who has had multiple deep playoff runs, and has been all-nba and an all-star more than enough times. This is a no brainer even without the triple double records.

Stop being a hater and use your brain.

This is like saying AI shouldn’t have gotten in to the HOF because he sucked in Detroit and Memphis. Cmon man.

Where's the "F*CK YES" option?

This topic is a disgrace.

22k+ PTS
8.4k+ AST
7.3k+ REB

and counting

1 Finals, 3 WCF exits as a #2, and some would argue #1/#1B in some of those runs.

Pretty much an elite resume sans rings.

Should we revoke MJs HOF status for his Wizards tenure?

Even when Westbrook was supposedly good he still made terrible decisions with the ball. How long has he been called Westbrick? Since he was drafted ?

I mean Westbrook defenders are something else. Ask them if they’d want him as their starting point guard. I bet you all will say no.

Yes, c'mon he clearly is. Hell just last season there was a parade on ESPN of how great Westbrook was everyday for the 2nd half of the season. Goes to Lakers and poof there goes his reputation. For all that crap he's getting this year, he's still averaging 20, 8 and 8 on decent on 45% FG.

Is LeBron first ballot? He has been exposed as nothing short of fraud this season.

WB is 100% First ballot with the career he's had. I'm not a fan, but his resume is undeniable.

what is it about westbrook that makes him draw so much needless hate from people? theres plenty of flawed stars in the league yet it seems like westbrook gets a disproportionate amount of hate.

He is but I so hope he wasn't. Has become one of my least favorite players of all time.
