Who's the most artistic basketball player in the history of the game?
Just someone who you enjoy watching play basketball doesn't matter what said players averages are. You'd tune in strictly just to watch him play?
I'd say for all his controversy there still isn't anyone else i'd watch other than Kyrie if i had to choose.
Also Ginobli for me was must watch tv. Dude did mad man things on the court.

I have more appreciation for DeMar DeRozan and his footwork after watching him closely this season, it's mesmerizing.

Even though he gets hated on now for his lack of efficiency I think Cousy deserves a mention.

John Crotty is extremely offended by your take.

Jokic and Campazzo deserve some credit here. Neither is an obvious answer, but both of them are hilariously brilliant passers.

Jokic is so much fun to watch. Guy is slow, chunky, and he gets the job done by being one of the greatest passers in the history of the game.

Cousy for innovation, easily. Anybody later who surpassed him should honor him on a "standing on the shoulders of giants" basis.
Bird is near the top of the lists for artistry in both passing (indeed, I'd put him #1) and shooting. I don't know who else that can be said of, but I don't know much about the games of Maravich or any of the Globetrotters.
If we emphasize artistic use of one's body, I'll make the obvious choice and go with Jordan.
Nash is up there in artistic talent, but perhaps didn't play in exactly the right era to show it all.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

Michael Jordan's 1 hour layup video is better than 99% of the dunk videos of anyone else.

I thought this thread was going to be outside of basketball.
I was gonna say Boris Diaw
Tbh having watched Manu Ginobili's entire career some of the stuff he did with the ball was just insane. Non homer answer, Jokic. His vision is just godtier and his passing is beautiful to watch
