And broadcast it proudly to others. Seems strange. I'm convinced they're trolling. There's no other explanation. I really hope he and Nesmith get traded away from this dumpster fire team and fanbase.

You're less knowledgeable about basketball than Curm, which is saying a lot.

And no one had Bane on their radar, 29 teams passed on him.

I was screaming at the television for Ainge to draft Bane at the 30th pick. Was very excited for about 30 seconds before they announced the trade.

Celtics just don’t know how to evaluate drafts picks that are out of the Top 3. Celtics need a major overhaul with their talent evaluators

It's debatable whether that return for Simmons is even positive value.

There's a bigger chance the end of the world happens at the trade deadline than Tatum getting dealt to the Kings.

That's a guarantee!

No point in bringing in Sabonis. He might keep them out of the lottery. If they don't want to trade Tatum or Brown, it's better to just keep losing.

Sabonis is tank commander in Indiana. They're better off hanging onto him and tanking.

I've seen enough - call up the Spurs and offer everything under the sun to pair Murray with Tatum and Brown

Right now the coach is the bigger problem.

No matter who the Celts get in a trade, if it's still Udoka coaching the Celts, nothing will change.

Doubtful Murray's near the player with Ime as his coach.

Hawks seem like an obvious trade partner. They need defense and are offering up shooting in exchange. We need shooting and only have defense to offer.

They've got: Bogdanovic, Gallinari, Reddish

Some combo of those three for some combo of: Smart, Horford, Richardson, Romeo

ATL: Smart, Horford
BOS: Bogi, Gallo

Could do Smart/Romeo plus something for Bogi/Reddish.

ATL: Smart, Romeo, 2022 swap rights
BOS: Bogi, Reddish

Or go for Gallo:

ATL: Smart, Romeo, Juancho
BOS: Gallo, Reddish

Smart's a tough guy to trade given his skillset, but with Trae in ATL's backcourt they have to be one of the only teams that are going to really value what Marcus brings to the table since it dovetails so nicely with Young. They have plenty of other shooting to compensate for Marcus' lack thereof. And we desperately need a) to shake things up and b) some shooting. One stop shop with the Hawks.

I honestly dont see any need to move any of
Tatum, Brown, Smart or Timelord, Grant, Richardson and Kanter

The problem is the rest.

Horford is losing his legs and being run into the ground. 35 years old and 30 minutes a game is way too much. 28% from 3 on 4.5 attempts per game just shows that to be true.

Schroder sucks. He pounds the air out of the ball, has no range and is a weak as hell defender. Having him and tatum both on the flor dribbling the **** out the ball has a huge negative impact in ball movment and cutting.

Romeo, plays hard on defense, a zero on offense.

Other young guys are hard to determine as they never get minutes

Brad needs to make a move to FORCE Ime to adjust the lineups. Bring in a starter at SG, SF.

The problem is the rest don't have value. Hard to bring in a starter quality player without sending out anything of significance. Either we're stacking picks on trash or we've got to actually trade a player of some significance.

I think Smart is an obvious answer to be moved. We need a shake up and shooting. Moving Smart is certainly a shake up for this team and our shooting % will inevitably increase (especially if he's traded for more shooting).

My top trade targets:

-Harrison Barnes if the Kings want to clean house
-Terrence Ross for a spark off the bench and 3PT specialist, surely he won't catch COVID on Day 1 like Fournier did, right?
-Keldon Johnson (unlikely)
-Dillon Brooks (also unlikely)
-Kelly Olynyk, we desperately need another stretch big for games when Al doesn't have the touch, which happens more often than not these days. Plus I'd like to see him back for nostalgia even if we're not going anywhere this season. We already brought back Al and Enes, what's one more former Celtic big?

Players who I want traded:

-Dennis for obvious reasons, I'd take a late second or two for him at this point. Prioritize Pritchard's development since he's going to be here long term.
-One or more of Jabari, Bruno, or Juancho, just to shed to some salary, get back a top 55 protected pick or rights to a player we'll never actually get.
-Marcus Smart, though not the biggest priority and I wouldn't be opposed to keeping him for the rest of the season, I think something has to change with the Brown-Tatum-Smart core. It's been 5 years and we've fallen off tremendously from our ECF appearances. Not ready to give up on the Jays yet, but Smart's already shown concerning signs of decline this year, that contract extension might get ugly by year 3 or 4. Put him up for someone like Harrison Barnes.
-Josh Richardson for other obvious reasons, but in the offseason. Unless Detroit would take picks and him for Kelly at the deadline. Let Romeo and Nesmith carve out their roles next season.
