to be fair, there was a kevin porter that played ball for bullets a long time ago. i highly doubt he meant it how we think he did, but the coincidence is pretty funny...come on.

Sometimes a joke is a joke but that is absolutely horrendously classless. This would be shocking long before neckbeards adopted "cancel culture" as their cultural boogeyman. That would have gotten gasps on even the most dark of comedy roasts, let alone a sports broadcast. Yikes.

Always get a chuckle out of these posts. You realize saying swear words on television was (and I think technically still is) a violation of federal law, which was enacted during whatever days you think people weren’t so sensitive right?

People have always been sensitive. They’ve just decided it’s ok to say **** but probably not ok to reference a guy’s dead father shooting a girl as he shoots a basketball in an NBA game on live television.

From the time now talking **** like that behind someone's back and not to their face has been crass and the mark of a coward. If that's your moral stance all power to you. You can still talk about them, even say the same things that were said decades ago, the only differences are that there is accountability now, and the people that are actually the target of those topics don’t have to play along if they don’t want to anymore.

Not looking good... but this is to be expected in these politically correct times, where every single person can be the judge, jury and executioner in every single possible situation imaginable to man.

I'd rather at least wait and listen to what the broadcasters have to say about this. But I think they could be fired on the spot.

My point is very simple: a person is innocent until proven guilty.
