Same players available tonight. Brogdon and Lamb are out of protocol and in conditioning phase so not available yet. Rest of players still in protocols.

The ironic thing that the NBA media is all concerned about is how terrible the Nets are playing.
23-12 .657 for the season in comparison Pacers 14-24 .368 for the season.
All good teams go through mini slumps. So the narrative will be how great the Nets are after the big 3 beat up on a depleted losing team. :P

If their talent doesn’t beat the Pacers like a drum tonight then they’re not playing with purpose and that is something to talk about. I’m thinking 20 point win for Nets.

I may be in the minority, but I'm damned glad to see Lance back, and so far he's putting on a hell of a show. This team's lousy record in close games shows me we badly need someone like Lance with some arrogance and quirky aggressiveness. This team has talent but lacks passion and killer instinct, and Lance has those in abundance, even if he's sometimes undisciplined. Is he going to do this every game? Obviously not. But he's worth keeping around long term just for the boot in the ass he can provide to some of these guys who have looked waaaay too lackadaisical this season to suit me.

OK let's get rid of Brogdan and LeVert and keep Sykes, Washington, and Lance!!

That's a bit extreme, but it seems to me we could find a spot on the roster for him...I think it would pay dividends. You just can't buy the kind of wacky energy he brings...

Yessir. Problem is for Brogdon can’t happen until summer. LeVert bye. However, Lance, Sykes, and Washington aren’t going to be the replacements for LeVert or Brogdon. They’d be bench strength and 2 way stashes.

Short term solution. I'm for moving LeHurt asap and Brogdon this summer.

When they will fire Rick? Or maybe we should bring new coach for 4th quarter?

We have lost all games with them... why would you want to keep them?

I'm actually in complete agreement.

They just contractually agreed to give Rick $28m over this and he next 3 years. They’re not going to fire him. We may be upset with how the team is finishing, but you don’t just fire a coach 30 games into his first season. If you do, and you eat $28m in dead cash, you can assume the team isn’t going to be signing players for awhile to save that cash back.

Just wanted to share this

The 0:28 part in the video, a few seconds later when Sykes blew past his defender to receive the pass from Domas, it gave me Reggie flashbacks, Reggie was excellent doing things like that

Imagine instead of Sykes it was Reggie

If Domas and Reggie spent their careers playing together they would rank among the most iconic duos all time

Pacers need to bring Reggie in as an assistant coach so he can teach our guards how to play with Domas

Reggie’s making WAAAY more announcing for TNT, and enjoying his freedom to do whatever he wants

Would love it, even if they just asked him to come to training camps for a couple days every year and teach what he wants.

He's enjoying his retirement

But specifically I want to see him teaching Duarte

What Sykes did in the video was reminiscent of what Reggie would do, but he doesn't have Reggie's quickness. He only managed to pull it off because the defender wasn't paying too much attention to him

Duarte otoh has the tools to benefit a lot from learning Reggie's game, and he looks/sounds very coachable too

I agree. Would love to see it. I just don't see it happening as a season long assistant coach position for Reggie.
