I agree that Glenn should have done more research before the game so that he knew what happened with Kevin Porter Jr.'s father. Kevn Porter, the former Bullets player, is 71, so it is highly unlikely that he has a 19-year old son in the NBA (I know it's possible). However, it was a totally innocent mistake, he apologized profusely and apparently attempted to reach KPJ by phone. I happen to think he's pretty good, though can be annoying and does say that obvious at times.
Should he be back if Gooden is not available for the next broadcast on TV? No. I'm sure, for PR reasons, Ted would keep him on radio where the audience is very slim. I've met him a few times when he was scouting. Good dude and as usual people jump the gun,(LeBron), so to speak, without knowing the real story. I had heard the story about KPR but had forgotten about it.

Didn't play long enough to play for the Wizards. 4 times... led the NBA in assists. Career-high with 13.4 assists per game!... with Detroit. Was right up there with Nate Archibald as the fastest player I recall ever seeing. So much fun to watch when I was a kid.
Randy Smith was also very fast at time for Buffalo and wound up at Atlanta. KP was my favorite player as a kid growing up because I could sort of relate as a pass-first point guard when I played hoops. I don't know why they got rid of him in the first place and then won a title with Tom Henderson, who was bigger, but not nearly the player that KP was.

The level of arrogance, he's making it about himself. He stays forever a punk.

Lebron's the one that made the bigger mistake - by initially calling for Consor's job and implying that Consor did it on purpose. Lebron, in fact, did that - as much as he's trying to whitewash that now. It's on Twitter - same as Consor's comment. Lebron was either stupid or didn't do his homework... ironic. NOW, he says he's not calling for Consor's job, but he's not acknowledging that he initially did call for it. The only difference between Lebron and Consor is that Consor admitted he was wrong and apologized. What's complete horseshyt is Lebron's comment that he's doing this for Porter... because he says he's Porter's hero. LeDouche. LeClown. LeMoron.

Lebron made a mistake in jumping the gun in his condemnation of Consor’s mistake. (And I agree with Kareem who says Lebron should speak out more forcefully on behalf of vaccinations.)
But overall Lebron is a high character guy who has used his money and platform to do a lot of good for a lot of people, particularly young people.
Personally, I’m very proud of Lebron.

Not to get sidetracked, but the problem in the vaccination situation was that Lebron's comments likely encouraged many to not get vaccinated, and that's why Kareem spoke up. I've defended Lebron when I thought he was right several times, but sometimes he lets his enormous ego run roughshod in the wrong directions. That can happen to anyone, but if he wants and expects... people to idolize him..., at least be a man and own up to your mistakes.

Still, the context is everything excuse doesn't work in this case, because all Lebron and others had to do was think a little bit. Just basic common sense would tell them there was no chance a professional broadcaster would purposely ruin his career for a pointless cheap joke.

It’s scary how much influence LeBron has. He is insufferable and twitter is a cess pool.

I have known a few 60 year old guys w. 20-something girlfriends.
It is unusual for some people to be 50 and have kids but not necessarily for a lot of us. One of my high school football team buddies graduated in 1979, is 60 years old, and he has a baby that is 1 year old and he also has a smoking hot wife. Deion Sanders sing the song called, Must be the Money
I remember Washington Bullets Kevin Porter from the 1970s. He played for Detroit after Washington. Before Scott Skiles broke it Kevin Porter owned the Washington Bullets record for assists in one game.
I never even thought about Kevin Porter Jr possibly being his son.
Just because Kevin Porter Jr has a story and his father went to jail, and Consor made a mistake there's, no reason for "everybody" to be "all up in their feelings" in my opinion.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
