This board is a ruthless place.

I was definitely not on Morris’s side when all of this happened. I can’t stand dirty players (or people who act badly in general) who try to play it off like they did nothing wrong, to the point where they act indignant when there’s any kind of retaliation, despite knowing what they’d done.

But back injuries are no laughing matter and they can persist for a LONG time with major life consequences, and it’s rough seeing so many people say he STILL deserved what he got.

Not a fan of the remarks about Jokic’s weight and body, but it’s gotta be rough having ongoing back issues- and this is exactly why Jokic’s retaliation was irresponsible even if his initial anger was completely justified.

It's because of his history and now he wants to play victim after a situation he caused? Give me a break lol

I’m not saying this now requires us to approve of or excuse the actions that lead us to this point.

But when a guy has back issues that have already cost 30 games, and given the potential for long term damage, I think it might be time to give it a rest. He didn’t deserve this.

Some of you getting a little too spicy in this thread, gloating/wishing karmic harm to come to people and such. A lot of people act like high schoolers when the subject matter is something like a fight. (Respect to any of you who are actual high schoolers. You get a pass!) Locking to avoid handing out strikes.
