Sneakers ... **** GOAT spy movie.

Holy isht, I was about to come in here on some "I know he's a legend for much more impactful roles and famous films, but being Crease in the [to me] all-time great movie Sneakers is what I'll always associate him with."
But it seems that was taken care of in the second post.

"Did I ever tell you why I had to leave the CIA?"

RIP to the legend. His philanthropy and trailblazing is as notable as his acting.

It was basically one of those movies where a whole bunch of Hollywood stars band together and make a vapid but enjoyable movie for themselves. Nothing too deep, but really fun, super quotable, and elite level rewatchability.
Basically the blueprint for Ocean's 11, now that I think about it.

Has multiple GOATs
Sidney
James Earl Jones (the GOAT of **** GOATs)
Redford at his salty best
Akroyd
Ben Kingsley ("Kill my friend please.")
Great plot, killer pacing, its just super clever in everything it does. The opposite of your modern Disney CGI trash heap.

RIP to a legendary actor. He was not just a great dramatic actor but was also a really good comedic actor. I love him Uptown Saturday Night and all the sequels.
