I've always got the sense that Nattie modifies her style for television and that's why this huge catalogue of boring matches exists. There are times when she seems really excellent and can get entertaining matches out of inexperienced workers.

Re: More Releases!
Without spoiling the last 2 months can anyone tell me if there's a specific reason Johnny Drip Drip got released? I can guess some others like Nia and Kross - backstage heat, Keith Lee - health risk

His wife got released about a month ago. Maybe he wasn’t happy about that?
It’s just a guess, but when one spouse goes it’s usually been imminent on the other.

I'd imagine if my spouse got released I'd pretty immediately request my release as well.

It appears Raw has 32 men and 10 women. Smackdown has maybe 26 men and 9 women. NXT has maybe 42 people. You can argue they're releasing the wrong wrestlers. If the releases continue it can start to look bad. As of now the roster is sufficient, so there's little to complain about.

I think you could say there were some years where they were adding a lot of people and not cutting very many, so it came around.

They signed a ton of people to block them from signing with upstart AEW at first. But this is probably the least talented
era of wrestlers since the 1970's. Yes Vince takes a lot of blame but some of the biggest stars ever happened organically
and got over by themselves. And with historically bad ratings and nobody really being a draw or showing any upside at all
it was a waste of money and they have stockholders to answer to. Also HHH has a completely different vision then Vince
as HHH is more into Indy style of wrestling that Tony Khan likes and it's very hard to win over a stubborn Vince. Also I'm not
sure if Vince takes AEW seriously or not but it seems he's also releasing people on purpose that he thinks is fools gold
hoping AEW will keep on signing and over paying them to drain them financially like he did with WCW.

Yeah, I was wondering about that as well.
Considering how much the Khans are worth, though, I'm not sure how viable a strategy it is. What they spend on AEW is almost certainly a drop in the bucket compared to what they make from owning an NFL team, and that's by no means their only income source.

Jeff Hardy released although this one appears to be warranted.

Yep. This is one of the circumstances where I hope AEW or indies won’t sign him unless he gets help and gets clean.
But we all know somebody will unfortunately. He is too much of a draw and can always make you money.

No sympathy for him. Just sad. Justifies why he never got one last big push. As unreliable as it gets. Never thought Matt would be Shawn and Jeff would be Marty but here we are.

Re: More Releases!
Such a shame because he can obviously still go in the ring (I have no clue how that's even possible given his addiction(s) and style) and is still very good at moving merch. He could've had one last, feel good run. I really hope he gets the help he needs.

I personally don't see an issue with them releasing the wrestlers to go esle where they get severance. What would you rather have them sitting around at catering or going else where and following other persuites. I don't like call ups not being given time to grow. But at the same time again if you don't w as not them let them go.

Poor Samoa Joe. Took it to Lesnar than probably anybody else since Brock returned and the wwe dropped the ball on him after.

If Joe stayed healthy and they put the title on him and booked him as unstoppable (I'd say at the Summerslam 4 way) he could've gone to another level like Lashley

Re: More Releases!
Right now WWE is doing a rebuild and Samoa Joe isn't a spring chicken and with all his injuries it's hard to
invest in him. He's a fabulous talker but for whatever reason that didn't translate to being a good commentator
which was surprising I wonder if it was because his heart wasn't into it and he still wanted to wrestle.
I never thought he would be a Vince McMahon guy when he was in TNA so not surprised. Hopefully AEW gives
him a look as he could mesh better there especially with a more relaxed schedule then WWEs. Just like Aleistar
Black I will miss his WWE theme song though.

Re: More Releases!
The Joe thing screams a guy who they'd want as an announcer or manager etc. and who's hell bent on wanting to keep wrestling
