Portland - Sixers - NO's

Post#1 » by Whole Truth » Sat Jan 8, 2022 10:48 am

Portland trade - Lilliard, 22 pick unprotected) for ( Zion, Maxey, Sato)

Sixers trade - (Simmons, Maxey, 24 FRP) for (Lilliard, NAw or Jax)

NO's trade - (Zion, NAW or Jax, Sato) for (Simmons, Portland 22 unprotected, Philly 24 FRP)

This is the concept of the trade because I'm unsure of the value I've set.

- Portland are lotto bound with an ageing star PG on max contract, they get a generational talent which could be equal to winning the lotto (22 pick) & young guard replacement, Lilliard goes to a contender who needs his shooting for a PG that can't & doesn't want to play for them.

- Sixers get a proven PO performer & shooting threat for Simmons who's currently refusing to play for them, which is why I have them giving up a young guard & FRP for the better PG talent & fit.

- NO's trade their uncertain generational talent Zion to take front, include a young guard un NAW or big in Jax to help balance the trade, Receive Simmons, Portland 22, Philly 24 & reset.

Portland won't give up Lillard for a player whose health places his career in jeopardy and certainly won't add a likely lottery pick in addition. The risk is just too great.

Zion would probably retire in 2-3 years with Portlands injury luck.

Portland isn't doing that. They are probably the last team who will take a chance on an injury prone big.

The Sixers are NOT adding Maxey to any Simmons trade. He has just been to good..
Simmons and 2 FRP’s yes. But Maxey and Simmons is a flat out no.

Blazers aren’t giving Lillard and a lottery pick for a Zion who is on pace to never be healthy or in shape ever again.
