Lakers with four players scoring over 20 points, and Carmelo with another 17. LeBron really heated up in the second half. Monk had some awesome plays. Even though he cooled down late, he started out 10-12. LA put the screws down in the fourth quarter, with nearly everyone making good plays on defense.

Malik Monk is everything we wanted Kuzma to be, he should be getting a fine contract hopefully with Lakers :)

A huge difference has been cutting down on turnovers over the last 4 games . It’s been night and day with TOs.

LBJ was 10 for 10 in the paint . Small ball has been working for us against weaker competition.

Memphis is a big test for us coming up.

Bradley had a nice celebration of his newly-guaranteed contract. It was great to see him operating on both ends of the floor.

No it's not.

Adams won't play because he has COVID. They're having an outbreak.

We're still going small against them because they will go small as well.

Adams is out with Covid. JJJ will play C and he likes to roam on the perimeter.
Small ball all the way for both us and them, Howard won't sniff the court.

So with this turn around does Frank V still has to go or is he a keeper?

He shouldn't have wasted so many games starting DJ and Bazemore. He should have had the knowledge and foresight to see how awful they compliment the Lakers stars.

When it comes to decisions like these that seem obvious to outsiders, it’s always important to remember that these type of moves involve a lot of politics as far as front office influence and any promises made or relationships that need to be maintained with agents.

Just cause it seems obvious that Jordan should be out of the rotation, doesn’t mean that Pelinka didn’t promise his agent or DAJ that he’d get an extended look as a starter if he signed. Frank can’t just break promises without hurting the front offices ability to be trusted by future free agents.

If Pelinka pulled that crap again after the shenanigans last year with promises to Drummond, it needs to be addressed. He can’t keep kneecapping the coach’s lineups (if that’s what happened).

Great game by AB and MM. Now they finally do what they are supposed to do: Beat the bad teams. Now let's see how they do against the good teams.

Or Lebron and AD were loud with their affection with their buddy DAJ, how he’ll replicate the impact of Javale when they won it all, rim protecing while allowing AD lurk in the perimeter and avoid hard contact. Rob and Frank thought Bazemore can fill the void left by KCP but he Kent. They should have wondered why GSW didn’t play him more minutes last season and why they didn’t kept him.

Many fans think Russ is a stat padder, probably is but last night he needed an extra point to get his triple double. He came in the final 6 minutes, took one shot snd missed. A few minutes later, he chose to rotate and commit his 6th foul by trying to stop an easy basket. I still don’t think he’s a great fit but I think he’s trying to contribute like grabbing rebounds and setting up shooters like Monk and Melo

Whether Adams plays or not , Memphis is a great test for us. They’ve won 7 in a row including over the Suns and the Nets.
Really looking forward to seeing how we show up.
They’re playing the Clips this afternoon, so it will be back to back for them but for a young team that has Ja, that may not matter much.

Make that eight straight. It should be a great game.
