[Kyle Neubeck] The Kings are open to trading De’Aaron Fox and/or Tyrese Haliburton for the right deals

https://www.phillyvoice.com/sixers-ben-simmons-trade-rumors-joel-embiid-tyrese-haliburton-deaaron-fox-analysis-latest/

"Use the Kings as an example. Sacramento is now reportedly open to making De’Aaron Fox and/or Tyrese Haliburton available in the right deals, and those aren’t equal propositions for Philadelphia. In all likelihood, sources say, a deal involving Fox would almost certainly have to be a three-team deal, moving Fox to another party in order to get what the Sixers think they need. And while the Sixers like Haliburton and feel good about his potential fit, the sense is he’s not at the level they’re after for a primary piece in return for Simmons, that the Iowa State product would need to be one part in a more extravagant return."

"Tyrese Maxey’s emergence looms large in all of this, with Philadelphia seeing redundancy between Maxey and players like Fox, preferring to keep rolling with the hard-working kid they already have in-house."
The Picture of Dorian Gray

“He grew more and more enamoured of his own beauty, more and more interested in the corruption of his own soul.”

WTF does Philly think they are getting here? Haliburton or Fox would be home runs.

The Knicks should move heaven and earth (and a bunch of assets) for Haliburton.

Simmons value has crashed to far below the earth by this point, this is probably just Philly PR saying they're rejecting deals they'd never have the chance to make.

Nope. Better to hold Simmons than settle for Fox or Haliburton/Hield/pick.

I don't think people are paying attention to who Fox actually is as a player and that he's now making the max. This isn't some valuable asset. He's never going to be a top 10 PG.

What team could use a point guard in a three team deal? Celtics? Nuggets? Knicks?

For real... it seems like they think they're Giannis or something here lol.

Fox would be the better fit since he helps Embiid immediately and they desperately need a real PG. Maybe they can try to get Hield off their hands. He'd be a great fit with Embiid.

Fox hate is getting hot.

Not top ten? Never? I mean…maybe but it’s a long ways from certain. Look at last year’s numbers. Look at his last month’s numbers. That’s Fox. The start this year is the outlier.

Hold out for what use him as salary filler? I can't see a fo wanting to deal with a headcase like him while having to give value.

ya, not a fan of Fox. His poor play aside, point guards who dont defend and dont shoot particularly well legit have to special to make up for it. And even then, im not sure they really work in the modern NBA.

That said, i dont really think Simmons has more value than him. I mean i dont really know what team is gonna look at Simmons, his behaviour, his lack of improvement and just having the 'culture killer/drama filled' tag he has and look past all that. Like im sure a lot of teams would take the talent that is Simmons and disregard the rest for a cheap price, but i just dont know who'd be willing to send out legit talent the Sixers want. but eh, ive had this convo before...we'll see when we see.

Best case scenario, you find a desperate team to give u picks for Simmons, combine those picks with yours and trade for a star who's value has lowered to the point where the fans on your board will hate the trade. Is Lillard there yet?

Just like last year it was better not to trade for Lowry?

At what point is Philly going to be done waiting and actually make a move?

Milwaukee took a chance on Holiday. Lakers took a chance on the AD move. Raptors took a chance on Kawhi, Gasol. Philly could have been a real contender in all 3 of those seasons if they just **** did something. The one year they did (2019) they were one crazy Kawhi shot away from having a legit championship chance if they win in OT.

Haliburton will fit a lot better with Embiid and Maxey. Specially playing DHO

Portland wouldn’t trade lillard for Simmons unless they got thy, maxey with Simmons which would gut 76ers line up

This makes no sense at all. The Raps wanted a treasure trove for Lowry who would be a free agent at the end of the season. Lowry signed for a 3 year 90 mil deal and if you think he has been worth 30 mil this year I don’t know whether to laugh or cry since we signed him.

Still sour Masai asked for too much, huh? How’d that MIA S&T work out, anyway?
