ive been wondering lately what happened to his mid range game that he was utilizing to start the season. He was abusing defenders earlier in the year, now it’s like he’s replaced those shots with really awful, heavily contested shots inside maybe in an attempt to draw fouls.

I thought he'd be working on that in the off-season. Truthfully, I think he's better when he doesn't have to set up plays.

I agree. He should be used in the Devin Booker type role, and not the Trey type role. I don’t mind the coaching staff attempting to see his potential in the combo guard area though. He’s so young, you never know. But I think ultimately that’s where Herro will end up.
