I think you can take safely KAT off the list. There is no chance Towns is getting traded before the trade deadline and only a minimal chance in the coming off-season. I would bet the chances of KAT getting extended by Minnesota are far higher than him getting traded in the near future.

Feels too light for Indy. Think they'd rather keep Sabonis and move Turner than this.

Marvin Bagley III and 2 seconds for Kyle Anderson
Yup

Danilo Gallinari for Eric Bledsoe and Keon Johnson
I thought Bledsoe has been surprisingly good for LAC (I don't follow them closely at all so genuine question)? If Kawhi comes back would Bledsoe be a better pairing than Gallinari? Gallinari is the much better shooter, but we've seen PG13 and Kawhi struggle without an actual PG on the court. I guess you maybe address this issue with a separate trade though or are counting on Reggie which is fair.

Jarrett Culver for Serge Ibaka and two seconds
Yes for Memphis but why are we getting two 2nds for taking on only a little money? Are they trying to save money because if so OKC may eat the full thing for two 2nds and cash depending on if other dumps are available. Orlando has an expiring $17m TPE to use for dumps as well. Or did you mean Tyus since Beldsoe is going out in the Atlanta deal? I don't know if Memphis parts with Tyus for two 2nds though I'm biased and want to do well this season whereas the FO is still looking long term. Culver has done well lately but isn't someone who should be in a playoff rotation.

I love when you do these kinds of things NYG!

Wild speculation: apparently Justin Zannik, Danny Ainge, and Ryan Smith were all at the game in Indiana. Udoka Azubuike did not play after starting one game and being Whiteside's backup in the next. Instead, Norvelle Pelle got minutes. I wonder if Doke could be on the move? He looked okay in those last two games, so maybe some team wants a young backup center who is big and can defend the rim.

The idea behind it is Indiana is so stable typically and Sacramento is so toxic. Get Fox in a stable environment in the hands of Carlisle with Turner in his true position, you suddenly have really good balanced team especially dumping LeVert in the process.

I'm relying on Jackson here and they could use the created roster spot on vet cut post-deadline at PG.

I have cap savings having sneaky value at the real life deadline for tax teams and didn't see better offer to save and dump Ibaka (OKC is losing roster spots fast in this).

Indy would need a FRP or at least Barnes or Bagley instead of Thompson to consider this.

I'll probably make it's own thread with reasons for each team and specifics on picks, but figured I would get some feedback here first.

Reddish is worth more than Okogie.
Gallinari - Hawks have a full roster so can't do a 2 for 1 trade.
These trades add 3 guards to the roster all under 6'-5". Hawks already have a plethora of guards. Makes Atlanta a very small team.

What bridges the Okogie/Reddish gap with-in reason?

What would you look for from a Gallinari trade? Who are some players that fit the mold?

Portland cuts years off the McCollum deal and improves defensively.

Boston adds an elite scorer without losing core guys or picks.

It's a no from Portland to me, it neither gets them significantly better or significantly younger.

I have them shuffling chairs on the Titanic before going younger and committing to a rebuild in the off-season. This is that kind of deal to me and gives them more flexibility.

Kemba Walker for Reggie Bullock

From the Dallas perspective, I think it makes a lot more sense to use Burke/WCS as the matching. If the Knicks balked and Dallas really wanted Kemba still, I think they'd use the TPE. I'm not sure it makes sense to sacrifice one of their top 3 wings for a 3rd PG who likely doesn't even play every night.

And then it feels compounded by eating the Lamb contract for free to replace Bullock. Again why not just eat Kemba for free and keep Bullock if you are burning the TPE? Bullock is > Lamb for sure.

For the Knicks this feels like a great deal trading a guy the coach only wants to play when his other PG's are unavailable for a solid 3&D guy that he played 30 mpg just last season.

Now I know many people looked at Bullock shooting under 30% from 3 and used that to say he was a bad fit in Dallas, but he's been shooting the ball like his career says he would and that percentage is rising again. I would have anyone thinking Dallas wants to dump their MLE signing maybe needing to re-calibrate that. He's been a solid piece to the rotation.

Adding a conditional first going to Indy in the Sabonis deal

Adding a second or two to the Hawks in the Okogie/Reddish swap.

No Kemba/Bullock swap. I think the Knicks would just keep Kemba at that point unless a wing like Bullock was available.

Find a different Gallinari trade with more size returning. Anyone have a good idea in mind excluding the above already traded guys?

Find a different Keon Johnson/Bledsoe deal since Gallinari undone. Anyone have a good idea in mind excluding the above already traded guys?

Anything else? Any major misconceptions on team need/fit/value that I need to fix in the other deals?

Any notable exclusions? (Note: I don't see Simmons or anyone better getting traded before the deadline besides possibly one of the Indiana guys)

What about Lamb and 2nd for Culver then Ibaka and 2 2nds for Troy Brown Jr. (now on OKC via 3-team deal) instead of above?

I haven't been following the saga, but I would hope after being POTW when Thibs had no choice to play him and how maturely he handled being benched would get Kemba back in the mix. :D

Maybe there is a more PG needy team that would give the Knicks a wing? I just think with how well Brunson is playing Dallas isn't that team.

Trail Blazers get:
Derrick Favors
2022 Oklahoma City Thunder Second Round Draft Pick

-Gives Robert Covington

Simply gets below the luxury tax. I don't see the Blazers blowing it up pre-deadline, but I don't see ownership paying the tax for this team either. Between this deal and the follow up deal, they get to see what they have in their younger guys like Nance Jr. and Powell.

===

Bulls get:
Robert Covington

-Gives Coby White and Troy Brown Jr.

Adds a veteran power forward to hold the spot down for the year. Covington will bring another veteran in the locker room and Chicago doesn't lose Williams, picks or any core guys.

===

Thunder get:
Coby White
Serge Ibaka
2022 Los Angeles Clippers Second Round Draft Pick

-Gives Derrick Favors and 2022 Oklahoma City Thunder Second Round Draft Pick

Takes on salary to see if they could boost White's career by expanding on his potential. By downgrading second round picks and taking on salary, they get a potential solid young bench piece on their roster.

===

Clippers get:
Troy Brown Jr.

-Gives Serge Ibaka and 2022 Los Angeles Clippers Second Round Draft Pick

The Clippers simply save a ton of money given the luxury tax ramifications.
