Spurs @ Nets - 12:00 - 1/9/22
Early start tomorrow. We are 500 at home team and we have had the Spurs number for a while now and they will be looking to take this one.
Not sure what lineup were going with. My thoughts on Duke starting is Marks is probably shopping him shopping him.
No excuses, we need to win this one for the organization and the fans.
Reminder: All Star voting is open. Jarrett Allen could use our support.

Re: Spurs @ Nets - 12:00 - 1/9/22
We need this one for the feels. Being only .500 at home should bother our players, and the fact that every other MVP candidate destroys us at Barclays should light a fire under Kevin.
Dejounte is quietly having the season that everyone *thinks* Ja is having, from a W-L perspective. He's a great, athletic 2-way lead guard, who is finally healthy. Poeltl can demolish undersized frontcourts, and for his size, he tracks decently on the perimeter. We can't make him pay by screening, he's going to be a problem.
They have a ton of young B-level wing prospects, hopefully we can keep them in check. Really, this game is more about finding ourselves than anything. Home court advantage has to mean something. We've got to dig deeper, play harder and smarter. Go Nets!

I do not like home games as we simply suck at home, but I do hope this is the turning point of the season.

I'm not even looking forward to this. This team is not fun to watch.

Re: Spurs @ Nets - 12:00 - 1/9/22
Nothing to look forward to here. Just more weird rotations and lazy Harden possessions. Sorry but Nash needs to either find a solution to solve the offensive and defensive woes or they need to get another coach; Harden needs to push the pace more and pass the ball. What they did in the fourth against Indy has to be done consistently. The problem was essentially solved in the 4th against Indy and they just can’t quiet keep up that pace. And please stop making lazy pathetic passes.
Nonetheless, I think Nets will blow Spurs out and I think with the next two games with Kyrie will boost their energy and bring back their winning ways. I expect a 27-13 record by week’s end. And yes I’m confident we can beat the Bulls with Kyrie.

This type of games predictably will be hard to watch. Spurs well coached and have some momentum now, they give everything you can handle and than more.
As been mentioned, spacing, pace and rotations will be a thing to watch. I gave up on Steve Trash and rest of them bums, just hope for little things to be done at least.
Really want to see Kess get legit min with starters tbh. Is he a 3 and D guy most think he is or was it just fluky stuff.
Other than that it's hard to watch games lately, no interest anymore.

If Bembry starts, he would set the tone defensively and the game would be better offensively. Nash doesn’t learn and I think he’s enjoying blaming this squarely on the team.

This team misses a lot of layups and tough shots that other teams make on us.

There is a noticeable increase on our level of effort today. Keep on attacking and don't look back!

It starts with the defense. Far more aggressive and forcing tough shots. That’s how they need to play. This is what they did to Indy in 4th qtr
