Other teams have talent too. Them two won't fix it.

44 and 43 min for both KD and Harden.
We shot 28% from three.

Nothing else need to be said. It's been consistent crap for months now.

I think Marks needs to reevaluate his off season choices. Our bench last season was our strength. Nash didn’t use them in the playoffs. But during the season they often out scored the other teams bench. And we had shooters. Green, Johnson, shamet, chiozza and TLC could all shoot threes. The ball movement and spacing was great because of that. It left the land open for harden and when the defense collapsed he could kick it to the three point shooters.

Now the bench lacks that. Bembry, Johnson, Blake, brown and cam. They aren’t three point shooters. You don’t have to stay with them outside. Harden and Durant get collapsed on and they have no where to go.

He needs to get another shooter. Even when Harris is back that still just two guys that can make open jump shots. Harris and mills. They need more. There is not fluidity to the offense and it’s too easy to double and triple Durant and harden.

I think our 3 point shooting has been an even bigger problem than our defense.

We legitimately have no shooting at all right now and it clogs our offense.

Mills can't hit anything anymore. Harden and KD have been shooting badly from 3 for a while.

Kyrie and Joe would help, but our margin of error is very small.

More 3nD and bigs that can grab boards. Kyrie also needs to get vaccinated for your team to win a title. I'm sure moves can be made for the first two. But I don't think Kyrie is going to budge from his stance unfortunately.

If Kyrie doesnot budge, it’s what it is. Worst case, Harden and Kyrie walk next season.

Missed the game. In the highlights seemed there were a ton of turnovers. It was good to finally see Sharpe out there. I like his paint presence and think he should get more playing time when Claxton sits to stop easy baskets and for rebounding. Bembry can shoot threes but he always has been giving them up for others. I wish Nash would tell him to shoot them and set him up more.

i think them not resting (along with terrible coaching) is why they are playing so bad.

Mills gets mostly terrible looks. off balance sideways fades after a handoff.

Harden is all step back.

Kd dribble pull up

thats it. we dont generate open corer threes like the other 29 teams in the league. mostly because we dont run an offense and do nothing to collapse the defense to where a wing defender would ever help. live with KD and LMA hitting mid range and stay home on everything else. weve been scouted

Kyrie breaks that. harris too.

Harris injury hurt us more then our bench. we have as much shooting off the bench this year as we did last year on paper.

Mills/carter/Milsap/Blake/LMA

vs

Shamet/TJ/Green/Blake

Mills moving to starter removed bench shooting, but thats also irrelevant since mills plays a billion minutes. Carter being trash sucks btu TJ didnt play ever so thats kind of a wash, milsap being a 0 hurts. green was good for us

We need to make some moves.

Find a shooter off buyout. Something. The lack of shooting is becoming painfully obvious.

Our style is so 80-90's basketball in an era when most teams have gone for small balls.. Check the 3pt% of all the top teams..You'd be shocked..

Our shooting last year was WAYYYY better!!!

Mills(41%)/carter(30%)/Milsap(23%)/Blake(22%)/LMA /Cam(21%)

vs

Shamet(39%)/TJ(36%)/Green(41%)/Blake(38%) - This is legit contender material 3pt%.

As i checked the stats, it's interesting to see Carter, Milsap and Blake's 3pt shot have all gone down the toliet. They all have shot over 35% on 3 last season. It could be due to inconsistent playing time I do not know. Carter/Blake shot pretty well prior to this season.. Not sure what's up with that.

Kessler Edwards needs to be in the rotation. The guy knocks down his open looks, hit the glass and also blocked a shot. He made a couple of errors today but nothing to scream about, he's a rookie after all. But he needs to play.

He's 42% on 3. Mike D'Antoni would play him in a heart beat.

Kessler deserves to play way more than Duke Jr. I wouldn't even mind starting him.

Just some shooting. At least.

I will say he and the other rookies are picking up some bad habits tied to the vets and our pace of play. It's far more noticeable in person than on TV. They casually stroll/jog to the corners or wings not looking at the ball, expecting Harden or KD to just pound the ball for a bit. There were a few very avoidable turnovers simply caused because Kessler and Cam were not ready for the pass. They're not alone. It's a far cry from the Kidd days where we were fast paced and everyone had to expect the ball at any time.
