Monk is cold all right, but he has three blocks already. That's something he has really learned to do on the Lakers. As well as the team has been playing, Memphis has answered every time.

Bron needs to be on the floor at all times unfortunately. No one consistent enough to keep it close when he's resting tonight.

Memphis is hitting 64% from 3.
Hopefully we'll decide to play some D on their shooters.

Our perimeter defense suffers from constantly different lineups from game to game.

Memphis was 16 of 21 from the field in that second Q.
Have got to clean that crap up.

Wow. The team went ice cold in the second quarter. A few adjustments will be needed against a well-coached team. The best I can say is that LA only had three turnovers, and LeBron keeps hitting amazing shots.

This small ball line up **** is **** stupid. Memphis already has 31 rebounds while we have 18....

Their best player is having an off night and the rest of their team is picking it up. About the opposite for us unfortunately. Gotta get Bron some help in the second half. They won't shoot like this all night.

Yup.... down 12 in the paint and getting outboarded by 13. They have 1 more 3 pointer made as well.

We have to play with more force. It looks like we’re just waiting for them to give it to us and that ain’t happening. This team loves taking it to us.

We have to be stronger off ball, because the refs are allowing Memphis to get away with a lot defensively. If they’re going to allow that, we have to do the same. We have to be stronger inside on finishes.

Also, it’s really not hard to defend a pick and roll with a ball handler in Ja who’s looking to get to the rim and a rolling big. The guard has to go under and be strong at the point of contact and the defender in the short corner has to come down and tag the roll man. Our tagger is coming from the complete opposite corner where the defender has so much distance to travel to get back to the weak side shooter. Bane and Konchar have had wideeeeeee open looks from that.

Memphis successfully disrupted the Lakers' offensive rhythm. Get Howard out there to help with rebounding and set some screens.

Outside of James, the starters are a combined 5-26.

lebron playing center is an easy way out for Vogel. kinda like what D'antoni did with Kobe before he tore his achilles.

Well James wanted the brick master Westbrook. The other starters are buyout/Gleague/vet minimum signings. James will exhaust himself and he has nobody to blame but himself. AD street clothes keeps on changing his hair like Kuzma too.

I like the idea of playing Howard in the 2nd half. Clean up the boards and set screens, both of which have been woeful for us tonight so far.

Avery Bradley has made a lot of dumb, low IQ plays that’s lead to points on the other end. You can’t have that happen from your role players. That shot was inexcusable.

Ever the optimist! Perhaps Ja Morant is due for a bad shooting night.

Oh my, Monk, I hate myself for predicting this about Malik :banghead:

Just a horrible match up for us. They're a young athletic team that can shoot.
