Sure, and Minnesota has likely said the same thing. So we wait for a team to decide to tank.

Atlanta is already there maybe you could get harris and ben for collions /bog /Gallo type of deal

There could be a trade to be made with ATL if Collins is on the table.

seems like he is. Hes not happy they are losing ...

With Lowry, the Sixers would have had a great chance to win the Championship. Morey kept talking up George Hill as a great replacement option, but he was atrocious in the Atlanta series.

I’m not going to pretend the Raptors got a windfall for Lowry, but if I were a Sixers fan I wouldn’t be crowing about it, considering how things worked out for them.

As we all saw last year, the Sixers weren't winning anything with or without Lowry. Masai was asking the moon for a guy he didn't even want to keep. Yet TOR fans constantly mention how the Sixers should have paid that cost. Simply because they are sour they didn't get a kings ransom for the best player in their franchise history.

I think our definition of "Kings Ransom" is a little different.

Two bench caliber players for a all-star caliber player. I would not call that a kings ransom.

If Miami calls tomorrow and offers Lowry for Maxey/Thybulle they still should pull the trigger. Neither player will ever be as good as Lowry currently is, and Lowry is literally a perfect fit in Philly. He would be incredible with Harris/Embiid

There is NO WAY the Sixers would trade Maxey AND Thybulle for Lowry.

Zero interest in trading Haliburton for Marcus Smart. If Haliburton were to go to the Celtics, it would need to be Jaylen Brown coming back. I don't see Boston-Sac as trade partners unless it's something minor.

But not at the cost of Brown, tatum, Timelord or Smart. (Need the latter 2s defense)

Fox is a nice player with some big flaws and a bigger contract.

So, you aren't interested...

I think people are really underrating the fit with Buddy Hield on the Sixers. I don’t think there’s a team he fits better with other than the Lakers. Good luck double teaming Embiid when you have Curry and Hield on the wings. It’s just a matter of what other pieces and assets they can get in the deal but what Sacramento has to offer the Sixers is being underrated.

I didn't think I'd ever see a hypothetical trade that would make me physically ill to see. But here it is.

Hawks don't need to be in that deal. Straight PHL-SAC.

What? Replace George Hill/Maxey with Kyle Lowry and they're winning the Hawks series hands down and then facing the Bucks who Lowry has been amazing against his whole career. Lowry is a big time difference maker.

As usual, you leave out all the other assets required.

Contrary to what people thought, it sounds like there's going to be a robust market for Simmons around the deadline, a bunch of desperate teams who need defense and want to make the playoffs or to shake things up.
