I like Turner. I'd like it if the Knicks could keep Mitch and play them in a rotation and even together for short spells.

But even as someone who likes Turner, he absolutely completely disappears every 5th game.
Even he'll kill the Knicks two games in a row and then be a non factor, and it's not new; I've noticed this over 3 or 4 seasons.

I'll agree with Sham here; he's a 3rd/4th/5th option type when the Knicks don't have option 1 or maybe even 2.

He'd make them a little bit better though. Probably enough for f*ck up the pick, because Knicks. :D

He would improve this floor spacing on the offensive side. I dunno. Depends on what we have to give up.

His ability to space the floor alone would be game changer he’s not super efficient from 3 but he can hit the shot + can still give what Robinson gives on defense.

You think the Pistons want Randle more than Grant? And we want Grant more than Randle. I mean, GREAT! But what’s Detroit’s thinking here? Would we have to add something along with Randle?

Grant makes a lot of sense. Imagine Grant and Mitch/Turner protecting the rim at SF and Center.

Is there no way this is part of a 3 team trade? Like the Knicks might have the assets for Jerami and then send him somewhere else? It just doesn’t make sense to add him to NY.

Just two years ago our starting line-up was:

Payton
RJ
Morris
Randle
Mitch

Anything is possible. It's the Knicks.

I’d be interested if Randle was shooting like last year. I don’t know how much Turner helps with crappy version of Randle who settles for jumpers even tho he’s a brick layer

if it's randle for grant, i'm down. obviously we don't need to "add" grant to our current makeup

Jerami Grant is a PF next to Randle.

Edit: Grant = SF, Randle = PF

They use Grant as a primary scorer but if we used him as a Swiss Army knife SF and added Turner too, there wouldn’t be many driving dunks thrown down at our basket. Grant is a shot blocking menace. Both are supporting players only, but very good ones. Add a primary scorer (somehow) and this team is off to the races. I’d prefer them over Randle if only due to their defensive potential. However, I’d really prefer rebuilding from scratch. Whatever, this would at least be a major shake up.

Rose
Scorer XY
Grant
Obi
Turner

or

Rose
?
Grant
Randle (with all the youth traded)
Turner

Bing bong. How many average shooters does it take to be a good shooting team lol?
