Horford trades? Hard to imagine.. all of these might take added value:

ORL for Gary Harris, filler;

LAC for Bledsoe/Winslow;

ATL for Gallo/filler;

HOU for Eric Gordon/filler;

SAC for Hield;

DET w/ more assets for Grant;

Not to rain on your parade, But I really don't see any team wanting Schroder. Barring a packaged trade or a team losing a PG to injury. This Painful demoralizing season will have Schroder on it for the whole year..

Young/Mcdermott from San Antonio would be perfect but I don’t think we have enough value to add..

ddb wrote:doubtful that Brad trades Brown or Tatum unless he's absolutely blown away with an offer. Just for fun, with Klay back I think it's about time for Golden State to go All-In for another title or two while Steph is still a superstar. The type of "blow you away trade" that Stevens couldn't refuse hypothetically could be an offer from Golden State.

Jaylen Brown/Horford/Romeo for Wiggins/Wiseman/Kuminga/Poole.

Why for the Warriors: Go All-In.. It's time. The west could be theirs for the next 2-3 seasons with a powerhouse starting 5 of Steph/Klay/Jaylen/Green/Horford. WOW.

Why for Boston: Although Wiggins/Poole aren't Jaylen Brown, they are good players. Wiseman/Kuminga give you the young players with major upside. Gives Boston plenty of ammunition to land Beal in a S/T as well.

Thoughts?

I would do it.. But I am different in that I like young talents to develop. But Boston is a death sentence for young talents lately so maybe not..

Jaylen for Wiggins, Wiseman AND Kuminga? I’d do it and keep all three - Kuminga is really good, Wiseman could be, only risk with Wiggins is that he regresses outside Golden State. Udoka doesn’t seem fit for developing young players, but..

Of course no one on the board for Boston.

Come on Brad. Make something happen here.

Marcus Smart is a natural fit for the 28th ranked Atlanta Hawks defense especially with Young. A deal involving John Collins is the only thing that would interest me in a package including Marcus Smart with the Hawks.

Marcus Smart is better than all of Bogi, Reddish, Gallo and I would not be interested in moving Smart for any of them.

Just don't see Atlanta moving Collins in a package of Smart, others and picks.

It does say we're open for business with anyone who's not a Jay. Not the same as actively pursuing anything I guess but it's not nothing. And it seems like most Celtics deals over the years have been the ones we weren't expecting.

for the most part I agree.. but both teams need to shake things up, so who knows what either is thinking right now.. stranger shet has happened.

It might make more sense for them to trade for Simmons if this is the case. Smart's value isn't that high imo, especially if Simmons is available and you want defense. They both have huge flaws but Ben is just the more valuable player. Question is, do the 6ers want Collins.

Could you do Smart/Horford for Gallo/Reddish/Delon Wright? Hawks (fans, at least) only want to trade Gallo/Cam for a major upgrade.

Simmons and Trae Young together in the backcourt would be interesting. Maybe even hilarious.

Al Horford straight up for Buddy Hield. Saves Sacramento some money and gives them a very tradeable contract on draft night. The Kings have been trying to move Hield for two years now. Like most trades not involving Tatum or Brown it doesn't make the Celtics any better, but it probably doesn't make them much worse. And it puts them below the tax line for 2021-22.

I don’t think you can deal Collins to put Simmons and Capela in the same lineup.. Trae doesn’t have *that much* gravity

Buddy’s slumping this year, we’d be stuck with him, and Horford isn’t that tradeable.. we’d also be left needing another big. I might do it anyway, but it’s not great.

I would do Horford/Schroder/Kanter for Hield/Bagley. seems like those are the 2 guys Sacto wants to move the most.....take them on and hope a fresh environment is a breath of fresh air for their careers. both really talented players.

Zinger/Brunson for Smart/Timelord/Juancho? Call me crazy, but if I'm Boston I do that deal!
