He’s outplayed him. That’s the truth of it. I like the message that it sends though - contracts don’t mean everything, the work does.

Duncan has been playing well as a reserve and will get plenty of opportunities. Ultimately, if he plays better off the bench, that’s a good result for the team and Duncan.

Not exactly, Marcus Spears said on Brian Windhorst's podcast yesterday that Atlanta was in interested in Simmons and was talking with Philly but things changed when Morey tried to add Harris to the package which probably meant getting expiring contracts back. Windhorst then said he had talked to GMs who think Morey is trying to create cap space to go after Harden this summer, he also mentioned one of the scenarios of holding on to Simmons this season to offer him in a sign and trade for Harden. Need to remember that Morey can get highly creative much like his trade to get CP3 from LA to Houston.
