Fans cheering for Obi is valid and Julius has to man up and remove his tampon and understand how sports works. USA sport fans aren't even that bad/toxic. Not even Philly/NYC compares to what you get in Argentina, Europe, etc. Pinoy fans go hard too. Randle has shown he's the softest player in NYK since Keith Van Horn.

I don't remember Keith Van Horn whining like a little bitch though

Mitch was good before, but never got into shape after his multiple injuries. As he gets closer to being in the shape he was, I'm sure he'll do what he used to.

Don't forget, he actually made one (short, 3 foot) jump shot this year, too. So he's expanding his repertoire!

- rj looked really great but let's not forget he was blocked 40 times in 1 game by timelord. temper our reactions/expectations with reality. he did play his best game of his career in the wake of julius' worst game as a knick. perhaps the young boy smells blood in the water? a dark assassin in our midst.

Reddish would still take these shots, and soon have to give MSG a different finger pointed in a different direction.

Randle's decision-making the last few days screams lack of sleep tbh.

I don't agree because of 1 reason. Dolan. He's a petulant spiteful man who I'm almost certain took the thumbs down and far more the "STFU" very badly. Dolan will endure Randle chucking his way to 30% TS, but causing a stink and disrespecting MSG and by extension him will be salt in Dolans buttcrack.

So Dolan will no longer support Randle.

Randle for Westbrook confirmed.

Not buying that. Dolan has been maligned by Knicks fans too, and has taken issue with it. He is a realist I believe but also may think Knicks fans are "in the wrong" on this.

I think maybe you're whistling past the graveyard somewhat. Dolan just approved a big contact for Julius.

Assuming Julius is at an end seems very premature. Just keeping it real. And if anything, RJ's trade value is going up.

Not trying to just be controversial, but a trade that surrounds Randle with pieces is possible. Think about it realistically.

Straight up I think the opinion on this board is at a high level. This is not Reddit (Zing). But at the same time, you have to realize that just because RJ looks good to you and Randle doesn't doesn't mean Leon Rose is looking at it and seeing the same thing. Same team that dumped Lin after an exciting run (granted he turned out to be nada, so I was wrong) ... and gave JR Smith and Felton contracts. Even with Lin sucking, that is still unbelievable to me.

Doubling down on the reverse jinx I see

If RJ is trying to become the alpha and displace Randle, then it is a good thing. It shows he may have what it takes to be a boss. We need one in the worst way so I will allow it

rj played like a man who is sick of losing his alpha role to a power forward last night. happened at duke, then happened here

Ha good comparison. He's also the healthiest of the three top picks :)

I think it'll be interesting to see what happens. I just like the way RJ plays the game. Randle seems to be in a tailspin that started with the Hawks series. Not everybody is built to knock down walls, and that's okay. Randle is probably a good guy -- he seems like it. Competitiveness and pleasant/decent human traits don't always go together -- arguably they are opposite.

You're underestimating Zion. I mean his weight.

There's nothing wrong with him that losing 90 lbs. wouldn't fix. He's def going to lose weight, because he moved his training to Portland, and they've already begun to run out of food there.

randle will continue to get booed for pouting and playing for stats but the moment he gets his head out of his ass and starts playing well, he’s going to get cheered 10x harder than norm

it comes with the package, new york fans will hurt your feelings but we’ll also inflate your ego.

Truth.

This has nothing to do with anything, I'm just happy to know that you just wasted 5 seconds of your life.

I'm at work so nothing I do on the net is wasted. I just got PAID to watch that.

And I really enjoyed watching that. Not paid to make this statement.

Chanel Bomber wrote:It always seemed like Randle was worried about people's perception of him.

Like he's desperate for validation.

That would explain why he bought into his own hype, why he carries himself like a superstar, why he struggles to share the spotlight, and why he reacted so vehemently to the fans booing the team.

He seems very insecure imo.

People don't realize it but he actually started to check out a few games before the playoffs where he looked terrible throughout the game but made some questionable shots in the end. He's a bad shot maker and this year it has caught up to him. He's a low I.Q, low energy, Ball watcher that hardly ever contest a shot, on defensive fastbreaks he never picks up anybody, on offense he thinks he's a guard in which he's never on the low block which with his strength should be his strong point. People say that Evan is our worst defender, Evan just can't stay in front of his man because he's slow laterally, but Randle doesn't even try unless it's a big man and that player is dribbling right in front of him. He makes me sick when he doesn't box out, most of his rebound come because he wasn't guarding anyone or he grabbed his own rebound. I checked out on Randle before the playoffs And felt that he was looking off RJ and only playing with Bullock. I mean nobody in the whole league would pass to Bullock as much as he does.

Return to New York Knicks
