Near the end of the game there was a steal by Bey I think, or he ended up with the ball.

Ran down the court with Hayes and Hayes cut to the basket. Bey looked away and passed to Diallo I think at the 3 point line guarded by someone.

I mean we all have probably played our share of basketball. If you play with a guy who sucks and cant make a lay up, it stops being fun after a while. If your chance at making millions of dollars depends on that guy, who somehow is the PG and handles the ball most of the time. I get Diallo looking pissed on the bench.

Scheduled loss, nothing to see here. This clipping from the Chicago papers today sums up their game plan well enough:

I'm honestly impressed with how thoroughly dismantled we were by the start of the 2nd half. The talent disparity was always going to be apparent this season, but the Bulls didn't have that fools gold vibe where good teams let off the gas and blow a 20 point lead and etc etc

They just stuck to what worked and empowered their other starters to get going like Vucevic turning into the best big man in the league and Demar Derozan and Ball not missing their open shots

On to the next one

Yes, I'm sure the exact thought going through Bey's head was "Hayes won't make this layup and could cost me millions of dollars if he misses. My chances at making millions are higher if I pass to Diallo--who shoots 27.5% from 3--for a guarded 3."

Makes sense.

That was a heck of an ugly loss. I get it. Blowouts happen. Especially in back to backs against good team.

But.... we are half way though the season and it looks like half the team doesn't know who they are supposed to rotate to defensively. It's not that they were just late, we had at least a dozen possessions where either nobody was rotating to the shooter or 2 guys were rotating to the same guy. I did notice they switched some of our D up last night and had guys trailing over screens occasionally rather than just switching everything. Guess Casey was at least smart enough to realize you can't switch guards onto Vuc over and over without getting burned. Hopefully we spend the rest of the year teaching a real NBA style of defense .

I began crafting a similar response hours ago, but then you realize some posts don't even deserve a response. That post is clear lunacy.
