Going to need players for Kawhi and George next year to make a run.

I still like Horford gong there with SChroder for Kennard and Bledsoe (EXP essentially) or Ibaka (Vet toughness)

Strong chance Kawhi is back this season increases the chances, imo.

Horford and Schroder to LAC
Ibaka and Nesmith to Brooklyn
Harris, Boston Jr and Bledsoe to boston, although Bledsoe only comes here on paper. He can just stay home until he is made non guaranteed and the 3 mill owing is stretched over 3 years.

Horford's a good fit for LAC. Ibaka's a free agent next year they're pretty stacked at the 2/3, so can deal off Kennard.

Can't see them dealing Boston Jr. unless in a bigger deal.

I just want Boston Jr.

But would make the deal without him

Thoughts?
Definitely.

MIN hangs up the phone though. I'd be utterly shocked if we can pull off a two team trade for a fringe all star with our best asset going out being Smart.

Interesting we’re linked to the kind of modest, marginal but smart on paper deals we had over the summer. Jeff Green over Jabari and Jalen Smith over Fernando is an upgrade..

Stevens likes to hit singles, whereas Ainge tried to hit home runs.

Danny drew a lot of walks to load the bases, couldn’t always get the grand slam..

What we need is a PG, this new rumor doesn't add anything to address this problem.

He’s flawed, I’d do that trade in a heartbeat, Minnesota hangs up just as quick

Temper your expectations! We are not fixing this roster before the summer.

You're probably right. Tough to make moves during the season.

Marcus Morris is a good fit here. Tough player on both ends. MM is a bucket

I'd like to try and get involved with the theoretical fire sale in Sacramento. Wonder if Haliburton is available

Green? Honestly why even bother? This team needs a rehall and not a 35-year-old retread.

I'd do it just to rewire the offense, he's a very different presence offensively than Smart. But MIN isn't in a position to make that deal - they've got Patrick Beverley already, Smart is redundant, and if they trade DAR it's going to be for a big wing or power forward.

I know MIN is desperate for Simmons, god knows why, but DAR for Tobias Harris would be a decent trade for them.

Does he fit the TPE? Not sure why we'd go deep in the tax for him and not Fournier, but he was good for us (apart from the chucking) and would help.

Can't see LAC taking Horford to match salary unless we're sending more value back - Nesmith? Maybe get a pick from a third team for Schroeder and send it to LA?

Al for Morris/Bledsoe would help them shed a ton of salary after this year..

Al/1-2 of Aaron/Romeo/Pritchard for Morris and Kennard?
