1. Have Randle
2. Don't have a stretch 5
But if you trade for a stretch 5, that means Mitch is no longer part of your plans (unless as a back-up).
And that's why drafting Obi over Haliburton was so puzzling to me.
You can't invest in Obi unless you trade away both Randle and Mitch. None of these guys can play together.
The Knicks have to decide who they want to build with: Randle, Obi or Mitch. What they will do is trade for another big, just to add another layer to this cake of nonsensical complexity.
Part of the hope when drafting Obi was that he can shoot tho. He shot 42% from 3 at Dayton on 43-103 shooting. Shot 31% last season here and 34% following that in summer league. Obviously it hasnt translated this season yet but doesnt mean it never will. His free throws are a good sign.
If he gets his jumper right then he can play with anyone, but this team isnt known for patience and development so yeah he’ll prob get traded soon.
You can get mediocre shooting with more switchability on defense from a generic 6'8 3&D wing if you (meaning the Knicks) are so intent on playing Obi as a 3-point shooting PF.
You need to utilize Obi in the PNR to get the best out of him. He was decent in college from 3 from wide-open spot-up 3s, but his speciality is rolling to the rim. So is Mitch's.
It's a waste to play these two together. They make each other worse, not better.

Been meaning to ask if I haven’t already before…the art on your site is your work?

You're generous with the term art but yeah I did these with Chinese ink. I hadn't drawn anything in years so it's definitely a fun part of the process for me (although I wish I had more time).

Tonight a star is born. He's been amazing during 3 consecutiv games, but against the Lakers? A star will be born, his name is Jeremy Lin

Once I make them, I just release them into the wild
There was one from a few years ago that got reposted onto the Knicks reddit, and I was like, cool, someone reposted it on there, good to see my work spreading, and then I go into the comments and the guy is bragging about how he made it, cause it was really well received, and that did irk me a bit.
