His defense was stupid good tonight.

33/7/4 with 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Almost dead even between the Jays. I'm going with Tatum for the 2 blocks and 2 steals in addition to the 33-7-4.

Going to be fascinating to see what Brad Stevens does at the trade deadline. Something or nothing. Big or small.

I’m curious

His defense was really good, but those two steal were at least equally caused by physical pressure from Celtics guards.

Both blocks were pretty incredible tho. One right below the basket, another on a closeout three.

The Celtics defense as a whole has been on point recently, but it will get a test against Phi and Chi. It was the 5th by defensive rating coming into tonight.

No votes from me. I shall not participate in this farce. Tatum and Brown playing well in the same game doesn't align with my agenda and goes against everything that I've been yelling about.

I'd give it to the Pacers. who were terrible except for a brief flurry at the end of the second quarter. As between Brown and Tatum, I thought Brown had a better game.

Also, a side note: I don't really understand the fascination with Sabonis. A big who isnt very good defensively (either protecting the rim, or switching) and doesn't provide spacing out to three just doesn't seem that appealing to me. Am I the only one who just kind of prefers Robert Williams?

Don't get me wrong, Sabonis has strengths. But no way in hell I'd trade Brown for him.

I’m open to trading Jaylen, but hell no for T. rex Sabonis.

Read on Twitter

Memphis did just win 20 of 24 games while being younger. It's nice that we're not satisfied with a 3-game streak vs. sub-500 teams. :P

Jays played great. Going with Jaylen for VC. Nice to see Jt not over thinking his shot, and taking it fast with less dribble. Dennis played good. Not a coincidence he played good with Smart out. We can’t have those two together. I can’t wait till we ship Smart out. Time to split the trio.

I’ve been a Sabonis booster, even considering Jaylen for him, but yeah I’ve got to say I’m out on that. If they’d take a pu pu platter of non-Jays, non-Rob assets, sure, but they shouldn’t, and I don’t think I’d like the fit of JB/JT/Sabonis/Rob all that much anyway.

Sabonis seems destined to be the best player on teams that almost make the playoffs.

Is the only Pacer I really want Brogdon, or is he getting to banged up to still like much?

Sabonis did not play well in either of the two games against the Celtics, in part because the Timelord played very good defense.

Wow, what a difference from the last game. This time the team played with rhythm, and they looked like they knew what they were doing out there (as opposed to the free-for-all from the last game).
The Jays making a statement to the league, that "Yes, we can play quite well together, thank you very much!!!"
I don't think Grant Williams gets enough props this season. He has been one of the most consistent players on the team. No, he won't give you huge numbers, but he's been such a solid player all year long. After last season, people were ready to throw Grant away. I hope he's silenced all those critics. Teams need a player like Grant who you can always count on to give you what you need.

Per the highlight video, the Indy announcers seemed to say that Jaylen had been practicing deep 3s before the game.

Good win. If we shoot like this from three we are tough to beat, obviously.

Random... This is the first time in their career both Jays scored 30+ in the same game while each taking less than 20 FGAs.
