That triple hustle play by Brooklyn was a good reflection of the game. No effort from the Bulls end. 50/50 balls going to the Nets. We don't have much to match up against Durant.

This is why the NBA doesnt want the Bulls on National TV. They are not yet at the elite level

You can say that but a lot of times it's role players who help in a big way. The other teams will send doubles/triples to your star players, it's your role players, if they make their shots then teams can't double and you have a great chance at winning.

That's exactly what Nets are doing. Their role players are making everything on top of Harden and Durant making anything so when we double them, they pass and role players make it. When we don't double, they hit shots. Lose/Lose.

On the other end, no one is making anything on our end. Role players not helping 1 bit.

We have 2 teams - 1 offensive team and 2nd - defensive team - Our defensive team (Caruso/Green/DJJ missing and Ayo in foul trouble). So it's showing.

Green and Caruso are not stopping Durant

No one can stop Durant. But they would help to slow him down. Caruso did well against harden in the other two games.

yeah you just can't let the rest of the defense fall apart around him or the energy level slack or it's game over. he's gonna get his; you just can't make it trivially easy for him and also the rest of the team

We wanted all three of them and we got it, but we didn't show up. Would've been 1000x easier to swallow if we had put up a good fight.

Another game, another embarrassing loss to an actual contender. This team needs a frontcourt badly.

Edit: and for those who say this will be fuel to beat other teams, you must have missed the embarrassing loss to Dallas 2 games ago. It's not enough to bounce back and win by 50 against bad teams and then get blown out by any playoff team right after.

There are only 3 or 4 elite teams so I guess there should hardly be any nationally televised games then.

No ifs ands or buts here, the Bulls have been thoroughly outclassed tonight. Can blame the 3 guys we want on Durant all being out, or the refs, but Durant is a generational talent and Patty Mills will never miss another shot against the Bulls, so we're going to need a real gameplan come Playoffs.

This is a statement win for the Nets, but this ass kicking might ultimately be good for us. All of us were falling a little too in love with this team (AK included), but we’ve got a huge hole we need to properly fill before we can make a serious playoff run.
