I would seriously argue a Vogel firing on this game alone.

Kept playing Russ

Refuses to start Reaves.

Insisting on playing Lebron at C.

Russ is the dumbest player in the history of the game.

Yeah I have no clue what Lebron is doing there. Reaves fought through the screen but Lebron joins him for the double to leave the wide open game ending 3. The Lakers D is a sight to behold when AD is out.

If they could somehow trade Westbrook for a 2nd Austin Reaves they'd probably be contenders again, as crazy as that sounds.
Can't believe Russ jacked an iso off-the-dribble 3 in crunch time right there
Literally the worst outcome for the Lakers offense and he walks right into it :noway:

Westbrook winning an MVP less than 5 years ago is wild to me.

Playing LeBron on center has shown to be total disaster. Can't even count how many free layups he gives to opponent per game right now. Gotta be 1/3rd of opponents FGs uncontested drive against LeBron.

To this day, I still don't understand why Bron wanted Russ.

It's 1 game. They've been at the top of the East all year, still will be after this. Doesn't make sense to write them off after 1 bad loss. They're also on the 2nd night of a back to back.

And this is the first time the Nets have actually won against a top team this year.

Nobody knows how anything is really going to play out in the PS.

Totally agree about the playoffs. But in terms of the bulls, its not hard to imagine Vuc getting played off the floor from the PnR. I can also see them shrink under real pressure and competition. They need to earn - show and prove.

But this one game is more about the Nets than the Bulls IMO.

Those teams (except for CLE) are also much older than the Bulls. I doubt this will be the case in 3 years

I think the Bulls have a great mix right now in age. Might not be the case in 3 years when they have to pay some dudes and DeRozan is really old. But I think you are right, most of the other teams will fade in 3 years and will be replaced by others by then.
