If Rodgers decides to move on, that's the obvious team to send him to.

Yup. Picks + Jeudy (2 years cheap) and Denver signs Adams (yes we can tag him but why would we if we trade Rodgers). They'd have Adams, Sutton, Patrick, Fant.

I'd be curious to know how Gute feels on Love's development. If we did move on, I wonder if Gute would take another QB at #9 or wait for a better QB draft class?

Pickett is probably the top guy, Corral has the best arm imo and Malik Willis is intriguing. Ridder, Howell and Strong could be a darkhorses.

Trying not to sour on Love so quickly. He's still got plenty of time to grow, but some of his throwing motions/loose spiral and decision making has me less and less confident. Just have to remember he needs the reps.

It would take Guts for Gute to trade Rodgers and then admit he has doubts about Love by drafting a QB at 9.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That's a good point. I wish we could be fly's on Gute's walls.

NBA style three or four way trade with all kinds of moving parts to coverup past sins..... Love goes out, God knows who comes back in. I cannot see one of this years QB draftee's winning immediate acceptance from the faithful, though.

No, I don't see anything like that happening....

Yeah, no way i trade rodgers to take a QB at 9 unless you are 100% sure on them which seems unlikely for this class. Better off getting young talent this year, ride or die with Love with a heavy chance of dieing. Then you have a top 5 pick next year. The new QB comes in with realistic expectations after fans watched Love for a year instead of Godgers. Hopefully the 2022 #9 and our own pick are then 2nd year pros with talent to grow with the young QB, sign a couple vets with the cap space

Looks like 2023 QB's to watch are Young and Stroud with a bunch of maybes like Rattler, Haener, Hall but a lot of things move around in a year.

I sure hope we go hard after Fangio or some young defensive genius unless a miracle happens and the defense comes up huge throughout the whole playoffs run. I'd still look to move on from Barry for the right guy with defense playing "just" above average even if we end up winning the superbowl.

Barry can only do so much with the dline i mean he has no one next to clark lowry n lancaster cant even be a force when clark is doubled.
Lots of things bother me about his D scheme his DBs playing 20 yards off wtf is that his LBs even with campbell are still average at best.
I think if he had a quality dlineman next to clark his D would be much better

Sherm Lewis was the OC for us during the Holmgren/Favre years. There was always talk about him as a HC but Holmgren called the plays so some questioned how good he actually was. When McCarthy took over Lewis became OC in Minnesota and then Detroit but never got a HC gig. I'm sure there are reservations about Hackett since MLF calls the plays from what I hear Hackett has a lot of input during the game.

Both Adams & Campbell named first team All-Pros. What an incredibly fortunate signing DeVondre was. Any chance we retain him this off-season? What is our pathway to keeping both of these guys?

Part of me thinks we are going to win the super bowl simply because there are so many guys in a position to cash in and go play for their next team.

I think we either get Rodgers/Adams back and almost everyone else is gone. Or we lose both Rodgers/Adams and we are able to keep everyone else and get some extensions done, but then it is kind of like what is the point, might be better off just jumping into a proper rebuild around Love.

Either way, I am guessing Preston, Z, Rasul, King, Campbell, Cobb, MVS and Crosby are likely all playing their last season as Packers. And I would guess Rodgers is 50/50 at this point. I oddly think Lazard is the guy they will find a way to bring back or maybe we draft the better version of him with the WR from USC.

As much as I hate to admit it, the only one that really matters is Rodgers, if he goes, I agree that I don’t see the point of even attempting to retain the other guys.

If Rodgers goes, I just go full bore into working on extensions with Jenkins, Jaire, Gary etc. Accelerate as much of the cap hit in a short time as possible, then after a season begin to reinvest in the defense and FA

JFC I need to temper my enthusiasm. With all these guys returning all I'm thinking is Superbowl number 5. I'm giddy like an 8-year-old.
