Reddish was drafted by the Mavs so we got another one of their picks, feels good man

Yeah, maybe

I guess the point is, I like this move more if we have another one lined up to clear out some of the glut at wing. Consolidate into one good player instead of 3 or 4 mediocre to bad players

If we're just doing this, it's a solid buy low-ish move, but kinda questionable given he doesn't really have a spot right now.

I think you missed Scott Perry's latest PowerPoint presentation.

He explained very clearly that 4 mediocre players = 2 good players. Pretty compelling stuff.

I actually got a recording of it right here:

People despise Leon for the Randle and Fournier signings, but his drafts and moves have been stellar

And Jokubaitis may actually be coming which nobody would have thought when they drafted him

Knox's last shot as a Knick was an open three that hit the backboard and, like most of his shots, he was unprepared to take. Thanks for your service Kevin.

NY gets a year and a half of Reddish in their system to determine if he's worth a long term investment. Worst case scenario you missed on the 19th pick in the 2021 draft. Best case scenario, Reddish develops into a versatile 3 and D wing.

Solid risk/reward IMO.

theres no risk cuz those 1st rounders burn a hole in the knicks pocket and that particular 1st wasnt really valuable with its protections in the first place

Whose minutes are the Knicks unhappy with if this doesn't merely set the table for a Zion move?

If they want Cam to get minutes, somebody's gonna have to play less or get traded.

Maybe it's Obi. Maybe it's Grimes. Maybe it's Fournier. Maybe it's IQ. Someone's gonna lose.

The most far-fetched scenario is they're thinking of selling high on RJ, but that seems unlikely.

There will be more moves. I don’t think they do this unless they’re lining up other deals

to me, this move also signifies the FO belief in RJ. kinda like handing him the keys. he's been more of a focal point on offense lately w/ the regression of Julius and not just spotting up in the corner

It shows that Leon was able to make a trade and not get dunked on.

Now watch Knox start filling it up in Atlanta.

Damn pretty decent trade for both teams. Cam can be a solid 3/D wing with a little room to be more if he puts it together.

Gotta believe another move is coming. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a toppin/burks type of move
