Re: Last Train to Celticsville Trade Thread
Hawks apparently open to trading anyone not named Trae/Capela.
Possible Simmons destination with Collins going the other way?
Could also eat Harris in the process and now have a pick to add instead of Reddish. Interesting.
I'd jump at adding Collins to the Jays if that was somehow in the realm of possibility.

Re: Last Train to Celticsville Trade Thread
In before Big Trade Brad deals anyone, here's three small trade ideas to improve the team:
1. Grant Williams and Enes Freedom to Phoenix for Jalen Smith to help their playoff run, Celtics get some depth/length.
2. Juancho and a top-55 protected SRP to OKC for Theo Maledon. It helps OKCs salary floor and they can free a roster spot for their 200 future picks in the 2022 Draft.
3. Dennis Schröeder for Josh Green and Dallas 2022 SRP. German Rondo can start alongside Doncic and shoot the ball. Celtics get another young kid.
Celtics would be able to sign IT and Boogie Cousins to their 2 last roster spots and be the postseason's biggest attraction , all while staying under the Tax. And last but not least, they get some cheap contracts, which will be needed if they want to send Horford+Smart/Richardson for a third star on a max/near max contract.

Smart/Pritchard/IT
Richardson/Green/Maledon
Brown/Romeo/Nesmith
JT/Smith/Fernando
Timelord/Horford/Boogie

Possible Simmons destination with Collins going the other way?
Could also eat Harris in the process and now have a pick to add instead of Reddish. Interesting.
I'd jump at adding Collins to the Jays if that was somehow in the realm of possibility.
3 way deal

Can't help but feel we're the odd man out in that deal.

So:
Hawks get: Simmons
Celtics get: Collins, without dealing either Jay
Sixers get: .....left behind
I can see how that would be appealing for Boston

Re: Last Train to Celticsville Trade Thread
LOL, apparently Bol Bol failed his physical and is headed back to Denver.
I have zero interest in Simmons or Collins, and I had none in Reddish either. The Hawks players who interest me are Bogdan and Huerter.

Just want to say Tobias Harris's deal is a cap killer and should be avoided at all costs.

I posterd it the other day, Smart and filler not named Richardson for Collins
Horford and Schroder and Juancho for Westbrook
could be a interesting team
Westbrook
Brown
Tatum
Collins
Timelord
Westbrook would average 15+ assists per game.

Think you're having to add considerably to Smart to get Collins.
I assume the Lakers might float you a first for eating Westbrook, so that plus 2 of our own might be in the ballpark depending on Collins' market league-wide.

Fire sale for the Hawks incoming... maybe we could snag someone like Kevin Huerter?

to go along with his 10+ turnovers and 27% three point shooting and all this for just $45 million per year.
No thank you!

Simmons/ Harris
for
Collins/ Gallinari/ Bogdanovic
Hawks add 1sts as necessary.

Atlanta has already let it be known that they have no interest in Harris

They also let it be known they wanted a lotto first for Reddish. Things change (and quickly in the NBA).
Could just re-route him to team X with aforementioned pick(s).
