This seems like a backwards way to look at it

When he’s having a good game they play him extended minutes and when he’s having a bad game they capped his minutes

It won’t be any different with Thibs either

agreed. i mentioned it because we likely won't give him that many minutes.

There has to be a follow up trade though right. We are adding a guy into the rotation without sending out a rotational player. The rotation is tight already. Unless we just are swapping Grimes minutes for Reddish which doesn't really make us better.

41 percent of our minutes this season have been to guys age 23 and under. Not a bad number for a coach who "hates kids"

For comparison to teams with coveted young/winning rosters like the Cavs and Grizzlies, its 46 and 48 percent respectively.
