As I said to MP, I don't think anyone is safe in the right deal. If Obi is out, we'll probably like the return.

Randle to Sacramento for Fox

Get it done Leon.

There's a low bar here obviously, but I'd happily watch that team for the rest of the season.

Not to be a Debbie downer, but Cam always struck me as a low IQ player. Hope this pays off for the Knicks. Like everyone else, I'm wondering how Thibs divvies up the minutes if he's going to be in the rotation.

As I said to MP, I don't think anyone is safe in the right deal. If Obi is out, we'll probably like the return.

I look at Leon’s first instincts when he arrived. He was gearing up to replace Julius (who was Pills’ signing). After how Julius has played in the playoffs and this regular season, coupled with the PR nightmare he’s been with the fans, I know Leon would move him if the opportunity presents itself. I don’t think Obi is someone they’re shopping, just as they aren’t looking to move Grimes. Teams may ask, but it’s not what we’re looking to do.

Firstly, I love this deal. Cam has a ton of untapped potential. Uber athletic, can stroke it, and has the versatility to defend. Loved how he stepped up in the playoffs last year.
Assuming Reddish is in the rotation then what happens to Grimes? I can't see Thibs removing him from the rotation but it was said that they almost moved Grimes for Reddish, so maybe they see it as a clear upgrade. But still with how Grimes has been playing I don't see him being removed from the rotation.
With Rose and Kemba also on their way back, the Knicks appear in desperate need for a consolidation trade.

Assuming health
Mitch/Noel
Randle/Obi
RJ/Cam/Grimes
Fournier/IQ
Burks/Rose/Kemba

If Kemba is starting and we assume Burks comes off the bench then where does Cam even fit in?
There's gotta be another move coming

Everyone loves Turner cuz that’s what the rumor has been. But if he comes here dudes will be complaining like schit about him.

He is mad inconsistent as a shooter so I ain’t even gonna call him a real stretch 5. He is not efficient scoring inside. Yes, he is a great shot blocker but defending in space is a mixed bag.

Considering the cost, I’m good on Turner. He ain’t la schmooove.

Will be interesting to see how Cam responds to Thibs. His talent has never been his problem but he has been far too comfortable being just one of the guys. If RJ & Thibs can get him to lock in, this could be a nice steal...and if not at least gives us the perimeter d & shooting that Knox never was going to.

Good work by the FO. Complain about the moves they don't make, but on the ones that they do, they do a nice job with asset management & being opportunistic.
