Game time 4:30 PM PST
Game 41, Warriors at Bucks, Klay game 3
Image 30-10, 3-4 after Christmas at Image 26-17, 4-4 after Christmas
Klay Klay, Klay, klay Klay, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our championship ours, don't let them beat us
Ut-oh Draymond isn't playing. The importance of Draymond has been showing.

Bucks injuries,
Grayson Allen Covid (whether he is out of protocols and available to play is in dispute)
George Hill Covid
Jrue Holiday Ankle, doubtful for Warriors game
Brook Lopez, Back surgery doubtful for the whole season

Last 3 games Bucks beat the Nets and lost to the Hornets twice.
Starters, Giannis, Bobby Portis, Jordan Nwora, Wes Mathews and Khris Middleton.
Middleton has been functioning as the point guard on offense.
Wes Mathews is 35 years old and may be a weak link on defense but he hits his 3s.
They have a rookie point guard on their roster but they won't play him.

Their bench since losing Holiday and Hill:
Pat Connaughton SG
Rodney Hood SF
Langston Galloway SG-PG
Sandro Mamukelashvili PF
And one of SG Donte DiVincenz, or PF Semi Ojeleye

Cousins who was playing well was cut to sign Galloway because they needed a replacement point guard. Galloway has been missing his shots. Rodney Hood has been putting up good plus minus numbers but the rest of the bench has been putting up bad plus minus numbers.

This Bucks team has lost 4 of their last 5 games.

Too bad Dray us out. Dray out, Klay rusty, Steph struggling is going to make this road trip painful.

I would start Looney Wiggins Klay Poole and Steph. Just to get Poole a good start and to try to get Steph and Klay off to a good start on offense. Poole is our driving threat. You can't defend all of them. You can't ignore Looney because he would have 4 guys to set screens for.

The problem is all of them have been lukewarm to ice cold lately, and it’s not for a lack of wide open shots.

How do you get them un-cold? If they are all going to be cold we don't win. You have a chance of winning with defense but for that we sort of need Draymond.

I agree, if everyone is missing their shots there’s not a lot you can do except wait it out, but chances are their shooting will revert to their averages at some point and then we’re good.

That said, obviously there are a few things like making a focus on not overpassing, not forcing passes in traffic, making strong two-handed passes, boxing out, etc. could help. In other words just valuing possessions more than they have been.

JTA and Lee and maybe Bjelica should play less, OPJ and GPII and Kuminga and Moody should play a bit more (maybe a lot more in Payton’s case).

Why should Lee play less? He is actually hitting his shots.

No Draymond. It'll be ugly.

Give Kuminga a couple of minutes defending Giannis.

No reason we can't put up a good flight as long as the team gets to their charter plane right after the game (they play in Chicago tomorrow so no dilly-dallying). Now whether we can put up a good 'fight', yeah, that's pretty problematic without Dray and the fact that the entire team (not just Steph) has forgotten how to shoot 3's. And of course, everyone on the team is staring into Giannis' chest even on their tiptoes!

He's shooting about 40% this month but on very low volume, and only 34% in December so I dunno, it's OK but not outstanding. Meanwhile he doesn't bring a lot on defense and lends into the "stand around the perimeter" offense which hasn't been working well for us lately. That's why I'd like to see more OPJ, GPII, Kuminga, because they have some inside/midrange game that mixes it up and makes the defense have to react inside.

December was when he came back from injury. He was off then for a few games and then the forum decided he was a big problem.

Bucks have been struggling while missing their top 3 guards, Jrue Holiday,Grayson Allen, and George Hill.
Which if any of them are playing tonight are questionable. Websites are not in agreement about who is playing tonight.

Langston Galloway may or may not play which does not matter because he was not doing anything usefull for the Bucks anyway.

On the Bucks board a poster wrote that the Bucks should have kept Demarcus Cousins and cut power forward Sandro Mamukelashvili Who is a rookie late 2nd round pick. Sandro Mamukelashvili Is getting minutes but not doing well. Demarcus Cousins was getting minutes and was playing well. Stats back up the disgruntled Bucks board poster but Maybe Bucks management is hoping that Sandro Mamukelashvili will have a future with the Bucks beyound this year.

I thought the Warriors had Jeff Dowtin, apparently we let him go and now he plays for the Bucks.

I think they dropped him to replace with Weatherspoon? Maybe and/or to free up a slot for Klay.

He has played in 4 games this year. Is he any good?
Last game he shot 0 for 8 and was a minus 22

He is shooting Ts% 39 in his first 4 games this year.
